aware that you are removing all the benchmarks of the RTX 4090 that did not have active ECC, and you have blocked these benchmarks for the scores, (when we then have to go by memory they have been inserted in the past and always also Benchmarks modified for LOD and impossible to be considered valid even in the rankings of the proprietary benchmarks) indeed the scores have been reduced, someone explains to me, why publishing new regular benchmarks, with active ECC, no score is given?, What game would this be, 3 DICE? https://hwbot.org/submission/5202803_ https://benchmark.unigine.com/results/rid_28d6c7935e89408ba5907a04905db38b

Think there is need for clarification as to which sub is supposed to be used for CPUz with this new full cores vs Performance core validation for cpu frequency. I noticed that on for example 12900ks there are subs with 2 cores active in the top rank. but its clearly 2 performance cores. Thus effectively those subs should be in the 12900ks(8p) category. Thus to qualify in the 12900ks pure category minimum 1 P core and 1 E core would have to be active otherwise it must be in the (P) only category. I am sure the OC performance might be very different as we go forward with this new topology. Meanwhile we might need a third category (E) where all P cores are tur…

On Legacy 2001 , do you have to use default values or can you choose any resolution you like ? Also , in your results submitted , do you have to show you used default values ? Just curious ?

What does this mean exactly? Can you apply your preferred windows settings to get max performance ? Can you use optimiser programs? Delete app data/caches etc? Thanks, SilvaGi

Is down clocking allowed or should we be honest about our CPU speeds to show newbies what we are actually doing ? See some showing LN2 speeds of just 62 0n 12900k which is phase speed ( on cpuz screen after bench finished ?) . Just thought it would be best to be honest about cooling and speed to let others know.

Sorry, but I need to ask this, because I don`t found an answer: Why are there no hardware points for the old 3dMarks 2000 and 99? So it is no longer interesting with an old Card too bench, which may then can run an 2001 and Aquamark maybe.

is hypersli/differentsliauto allowed for post 2010 hardware / drivers or does it fall under the driver modification rules? based on the below forum posts it seems that its fine but some confirmation would be nice before I try anything. x

Good afternoon gentleman. I just found out 48 hours ago about as ssd 2.0 getting global points wish is awesome as we really needed it a 100% storage benchmark ? , but here comes the but ... I trully believe that the rules by hwbot need an update for this bench as it is too easy to use software ram disk , cache booster and what not to boost the scores on your storage with dodgy software. I have already seen a couple of scores using primo cache ram cache software and other software crap , but it is easy to detect some of those out of the ordinary scores , while others are more difficult to detect. In light of the Shenaningans going on with this bench i propose…

The situation is that the generations which are older than Geforce and Radeon are extremely bad supported by GPU-Z. We often dont know about Memory Size, Memory Bus, stock frequencys or overclocked frequencys. If there are any information shown at all. Some people know about that and use Rivatuner, Powerstrip or even 3DMark sysinfo. But none of them show any useful details which are necessary to pick the right category for the cards. So in the end we have a very difficult situation. Users dont know which card to select from our db and mods have therefore a hard time too making the right choice if things need to get moderated. The best solution would be to get GPU-Z in…

Hello everybody, a bench buddy (Gigelz) and I had our P5E3 Premium / WIFI-AP @n motherboards under LN2 this weekend. We used a pretested E8600 CPU from Gigelz. All motherboards were tested with this CPU. First, we tested the motherboards of Gigelz while we have set up a new FSB clock record for the P5E3. http://hwbot.org/submission/3973151_gigelz_reference_frequency_p5e3_premiumwifi_ap_an_682.51_mhz Immediately afterwards we tested my P5E3. At the same time I reached a similar score like Gigelz before with his motherboard. We think that the motherboards did not reach its limit, but the CPU was at its end. But now we ask ourselves if I may upload m…

Can we add a rule that you have to have at minimum 2gb's of memory available in the bench window? There is a reason to run low memory available, its to trick the bench. At this point maybe its irrelevant and time to use newer version of the bench.

I can't see any rules available for this benchmark and want to play with it on some of my older hardware but it won't run on Windows 7. Can I bench my FX, Haswell and Ryzen etc on it using Windows 10? Thanks

Not sure if this has been brought up. I am aware that Bot had a crash (or 2) in the past and as such a lot of submissions screen shots were damaged &/or lost. Unfortunately there folks that dont know/understand/realize that and are constantly reporting OLD submissions quoting "No screen shot". Or worse, see that there was a screen shot but it is a damaged file and still report it. Example of an older submission that obviously has/had a screen shot but was damaged. Yet was still reported. Not sure how this can be addressed; Maybe a bot generated generic screenshot saying something like "ScreenShot Check n Valid"

What's the policy of borrowing or loaning hardware? Someone has offered to give me remote-login access to a number of systems including a dual Xeon E5-2696 V4 (Broadwell-EP with 44 cores/88 threads and 768 GB of memory). The purpose of this is to do scalability tuning for y-cruncher. But I am also authorized to run and disclose benchmarks on this thing. Would it be bad taste to submit benchmarks from hardware that I do not own?
