Hello guys, thought to make this thread as we (me and Phil) bought a cpu from user Zwitterion and have problems since we received it. Cpu was advertised as a 6775 R15 / 6800 R11 one for 650€ & 25 € shipping. Thought it was a good deal and proceeded on sending 2 payments, one of 480€ and one of 195€. At this point its important to mention that cpu was advertised as easy to bench, -160C cbb, no cb, 6.2+ G Cache and no imc issues (4000+ 12-12-12). We got the cpu within 3 days and tested some days later, after some quick testing we couldnt run r15 @6.7 GHz. I am posting this so people can share their dealings with hazzan as i have had good experiences but also some terrible experiences as well. First, I will start with the good experiences: 1) I bought a binned I7-6700K as well as some G.Skill TridentZ 3600Mhz B.Die. Defend the interests of the enthusiast overclockers league and minor league. It seems right that we users in these lower leagues, our computer equipment are limited by the refrigeration and what I disagree is in the overall points that are given by a punctuation of a graph such as the GTX 780. If we are in the minor leagues should be a separate overall punctuation for our league and not share it with global users including professionals. I have joined HWBOT with the view to join the OCAU team as I am a current member there. I look forward to contributing to the HWBOT Community. Since the release of X79 I have focused on that platform for OC, Gaming and of course general use. I have bought and sold various platform configs over the years and have a fairly good understand of X79 overclocking. I have also tinkered with X99 (I have a X99 platform as my main gaming PC) but love the higher CPU clocks that can be achieved by X79 (generally speaking). All the best and see you out there.

Hi guys. Just want to ask. I saw my profile few hours ago and my total points was around 375, few minutes ago (before write this) I see that I have a 435 total points. I checked all the profile and I found some competitions points that was not there this morning. Is that a bug? Or just a "fix" for something that was not working.

How much do producers of processors and microchips gain from Overclocking? I know it's a fantastic hobby, fun for us. For producers it's marketing, factory OC, XMP etc. but at planning or production stage? Maybe it's a strange question, but I'm wondering how OC could help a small company that produces microchips for mobile devices like phones or tablets.
