Hi everyone! We had some requests regarding a mini version of the Open Benchtable. The designers got to work and came up with a design that is significantly smaller than the original benchtable. It uses the same pushpins, thumbscrews and brackets so it's backwards compatible. It only supports SFX power supplies and mini ITX motherboards to make it as compact as possible. Currently this is just a proof of concept. Depending on the interest, we can consider doing a small production run. Let us know what you think! --------- Update June 2017 The prototype V1.0 is officially announced : A new Mini member of the family : OBT Mini --------…

Is there any way you guys could retail a small parts kit that contains all the thumb screws etc used in your Open Benchtable? I would definitely consider buying that rather than going out individually buying parts. Thanks

For those using the bench table, do you have screw hole problems (eg holes with thread of insufficient depth or holes with no thread at all)? Share your experience if you have encountered such an issue. Thank you.

Keith (@KeithPlaysPC) was quick to notice it was moutned on an Open Benchtable ! I didn't new they ordered one , this cool to see that user and industry-people love the OBT. (and they do !) Source : EVGA_JacobF on Twitter Note : The OBT project is not affiliated with any brands outside of the project founders : Streacom, HWBOT, OCTV

I am the happy owner of the BC1 and have been playing around with it for a while. Here is something I noticed and I am wondering if other people have encountered the same problem. Ok, on the board first you screw in a standoff, then comes the PCIe support rod. However when I fit a PCI card, there is maybe a 2mm clearence betwen the top of the PCI support rod and the bracket of the PCI card. I need to insert an M3 nut in between to make it fit. If my explanantion is not clear I can take pictures. Comments?

Hi guys! Are there more people out there who use the BC1 as a skeleton for an "IKEA BESTA HTPC"? It's something like this: How to Build a Hidden Home Theater PC Inside Your Entertainment Center I wanted to know what "case" fans you'd use to silently blow air out of the back of the IKEA Besta media console?

I have been drawing my own alu bench table this summer, then found this one, and scraped my own project. Looks great, waiting for it to arrive. I do however have a mod in mind, and need the CAD file. When will it be available?

Hey guys, So I'm making a different thread for this. It all based on what was discussed in the previous post about the brackets. @jaffers over there submitted some .stl file of an ATX to SFX adapter to be able to fit these smaller PSUs onto the Open Benchtable. So on Monday I went to the local Hackerspace (yeah, it's almost my second home (after the office) and I printed it as Jaffers designed it. And guess what, it's working Here are some pictures from the process : I also posted some videos on the Facebook page, check them our here : Now for the mounting. I was a little skeptic at start as the adaptor itself is actually very …

Hello folks, just thought I'd share a few photos of my benchtable. I'm more of a gamer than anything, but I certainly enjoy seeing the parts and tinkering without having to take a whole case apart. Super nice product. Build: 4690K OC to 4.6GHz at 1.240v, can push it to 4.7GHz stable at 1.3 but not worth the heat. Can't stabilize 4.8 under 1.35. Noctua C14S with NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM ASUS Z87 Gryphon 16GB KLEVV DDR3 OC to 2133MHz with 9-11-11-29 EVGA 980Ti Hybrid running a sweet spot of 1494MHz, 7300MHz on memory with a peak of 55°C while gaming, 79.4% ASIC. Could probably go higher with a BIOS flash and increased power limit. Hybrid radiator fan is…

I was just like to say before I start that I have no been paid to do this review and I paid full retail price and shipping on the table so there is no bias here. I will also update this as I use it if I find any large faults with it. For the better part of a year now I have been using an Easy 2.5 which everyone knows is huge. They elected to set the PSU on the side so it is extremely tall and very heavy in general. I figured I would give an OBT a try even though I had never heard of Streacom but I figured if HWBOT was willing to put their name on it then the company must be decent. After a month of waiting I got a box DHL express which I really wasn't expectin…

I find this product to be very well made, and have no issues worthy of any complaints. I don't think it's necessary to do anything with any of these issues. I bring them up anyway, for the sake of feedback. Perhaps it might be usefull All the thumb screws are easy to tighten with screwdriver if you want to, except the ones with a threaded hole trough its center; the one that you screw down on top of the bars. Where you insert the screwdriver, is not deep enough to get a grip with a Philips (or Pozi), and the crack is too narrow to get a flat head of reasonable size in. This can be fixed easily ofc. Where you mount SSDs, some of my drives twisted outwards …
