What are some of rarest, highest bin, or noteworthy for some other reason, kits you own or would like to?

	I personally want a 4x8gb trident X 2666c11 because it's probably the highest performance 32gb ddr3 kit ever made (for 24/7 use, run at XMP), since all the higher spec MFR kits were 2 dimm kits, and I have doubts about haswell or Ivy-E handling all slots populated at 2800+. Let me know if there was a better 4x8gb kit, or an 8x8gb 2666c11 kit made.

	I also want one of the Cellshock Diablo micron D9 kits rated 2000 8-7-6 because they looked cool, and that's about the highest spec for D9s as far as I know.

	What about you?

	First: This is not a FS thread (I will make it when I'm ready, in the appropriate section) - this is just a meta discussion.

It's been 10+ years since I posted results on HWBot, and I'm getting a bit tired of moving with all the old CPUs I used for grinding my gold cups and such. Certain things have some emotional value, which I will keep in case I want to have some OCing fun later, but some platforms/CPUs I know for sure I will never touch again. So, if you have like 100-200 CPUs for a particular socket and each individual one isn't really all that valueable, what really is the best way to actually sell something like that? Just put up one giant lot per socket and let some other grinder decide what to do with spares? I never made a proper excel sheet with an overview of which CPUs were good or bad, as I used to know this by heart when I was active and I also got alot of stuff after I (practically speaking) quit, and those have just been stored since forever, so cherry picking isn't really an option, either.

It should be added that shipping costs from Norway to anywhere are nasty, at least the base fee for any trackable and insured package - so it would make no sense to buy like 10 CPUs and have them shipped with tracking (the exact formula in Euros for shipping to Europe is 24.34 base cost + 2.13 per kilo rounded up, so a 2.2kg package would have a shipping cost of 24.34+3*2.13=30.73 €). Most people would be better off just getting single CPUs or a small number from China then due to shipping alone. Unless one chooses unregistered letter mail.

If this thread belongs elsewhere, feel free to move it

	Hi.
I got a EVGA Sr-x board Im about to sell and wonder what would fair price be for it (for both buyer and seller).

I've done some googling and I cannot find a single one for sale anywhere as of now.
Also really hard to find information in general about what they are worth today.

	Board is in excellent shape (no dings or scratches) and is fully functional (in use as of now).

No original box, comes with I/O shield and a few peripherals though.

Anyone has any idea what a fair price would be?

Many Thanks Halibut King.

I what to flash because i have a problem with my old school computer (Q6600+DFI LP LT P35 T2R+4x1GB Geil Ultra+eVGA 8800 Ultra)

If i have bios battery in soket, the MB don't boot, show only C1/C26 on debug led. When i removet, pc boot normaly (like a reset cmos). Shut down the pc>>> push power button ... same problem, don't boot and C1/C26 on debug led.

If i remove the power cord (to drain all power from MB) when i shut down the pc, the pc boot ... like a reset cmos ( without battery)

I tested with another power supply/cpu/ram/vga/keyboard/mouse ... same shit

I think the problem would be from some capacitors, given the age, but still I want to rewrite the bios

I want the bios file, maybe someone saved in pc, DFI site no longer works.

THX !!!

	So, this is something that I've been wondering, especially considering there's people here with 200+ CPU's in their hardware list, so plenty people that probably have experience in this market ? .

	Recently I got a pretty okay deal on an Asus Crosshair, FX-6200, some mediocre RAM and and a Noctua NH-D14, so now I have a great AM3 board and I'm looking for more CPU's to put into it. Though, when I check the (semi) local pricing for 2nd hand AM3 CPU's I get:

	* FX-6300: €20

	* Phenom II X4 810: €30

	* FX-8210: €25

	It's already weird that the price goes down if the CPU gets faster, but is it me or are these pricing kinda high for these 12 year old CPU's that weren't even great to begin with ? Intel's 2nd and 3rd gen cpu's were much faster and those also go on sale for about ~€20-€30 nowadays. The next Intel socket goes for €20-€50 with someone asking €75 for a 4770K, which imho is ridiculous because a brand new €75 Ryzen 3 4100 easily beats this CPU. For €10 extra I have a new Ryzen 5 4500 which is almost twice as fast as a 4770K.

	So now I'm wondering; are 2nd hand CPU prices way too high or have they always been like this ? I can understand that for AM4 the prices are still high since it's still a semi-current generation considering AMD keeps releasing CPU's for this socket, but AM3 is over 10 years old and AM4 replaced it 8 years ago with AM4. The same applies to Intel, why ask €50 for a 10 year old CPU which is 10 "generations" behind the current gen and is 4 sockets behind the current one ?

	Am I just being cheap or do you have the same feeling about it ?

	FYI, €1 = $1,09 ... so € is pretty much interchangeable with $.

	Hello, I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but I have a lot of old hardware that I would be interested in overclocking and submitting to HWBOT, but I feel like installing windows 10 would be kinda dumb since the hardware barely runs that so installing windows xp or 7 would be the right way. How do you install the operating systems, do you have an original installation disc or somthing else? I have windows xp home sp2 disc already. Thank you!
