  1. I was always under the assumption that the version history page of System Info has download links to all the old versions but recently learned that is not the case, so I went and backed up as many of them as I could. Currently this includes: Version 5.xx: 73/73 versions as of May 2024. Will be automatically scraped and uploaded to the shared link. Version 4.xx: 21/38 - missing versions predate the Steam depots and most official builds of 3DMark/PCMark so might never be complete without official help from UL or community. Version 3.xx: 4 versions, no official version history to track. Version 2.xx: nothing, does this even exist? Version…

  2. I'm trying to submit a score in 1080p X265 for a Pentium 4 1.6 (Willamette, 478), but the submission form will only file it as a Northwood. Is there a way to manually specify the CPU, or do I need to rerun it and choose the manual option when saving?

Hello everyone, Since AS SSD 2.0 is not hidden anymore, the issue that was happening before is still relevant and possible. Basically running a P5800x / P5810x on Windows 7 with Intel drivers has a very high chance 100% chance of bugging out the 4K-64 Read, which results in some unrealistic scores. You can reruns it a shit load of times, and I assure you, you will get score bigger than 40k. Edit : I misremembered. You can "bug" out the benchmark without any rerun from a coldboot, and drivers version doesn't matter. What I would like to enforce is a cleanup of Optane score used on W7 and a rule that forbid w7 and its server counterpart. Let'…

Would you consider partnering up with? I like this Benchmate software, and I was curious, why there isn't something similar for Linux users? OpenBenchmarking would bring a few more benchmarks, which both platforms, win and Linux, could share. It is not as fancy as HWBOT, but I have heard that even Intel likes Linux. Maybe if something partnership were to happen, we could ask Intel if they could develop or have something platform-independent for verification for the y-cruncher for example, or I think super-pi also runs on Linux, but I would need to read up on that one. You can check out OpenBenchmarking here: https://openbenchmarking.org/ On Linux, the paket…

Is it possible to run pcmark vantage on windows 10?

  8. Started by Leeghoofd,

Mysticial released an enhanced version of his y-cruncher benchmark Performance improvements range from a few percents to even over 25% depending on the CPU and it's supported instruction set I'm in favour of running 2 versions on HWBot as it will lead to eg 6500MHz scores that will be in the end will be taken down by water cooled setups running the same CPU. Some will be cheering, others will be mad... Therefore a poll is required to let the community decide, but be aware of the below mentioned perfomance differences …

We're working on a new Geekbench 3 release that addresses issues that affect the overclocking community. The first preview release, Geekbench 3.4.3 Beta 1, is now available for download: https://geekbench.s3.amazonaws.com/Geekbench-3.4.3b1-WindowsSetup.exe Geekbench 3.4.3 Beta 1 fixes the issues that prevented Geekbench 3 from working on recent AMD and Intel HEDT processors. Geekbench 3.4.3 Beta 1 also fixes several issues that prevented Geekbench 3 from being used on AMD systems running Windows 10 on HWBOT. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Update: Version 1.1.1 is online http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads/temp/HWBOT_x265_Benchmark_final_portable.rar The alpha stage has been successful, it is time to move on. I've enabled Beta status, the benchmark is open for submissions. Plenty of free gold cups to take. At the moment we have no dedicated video encoding benchmark on HWBOT. So I thought it would be nice to create one. There are plenty of video encoders available on the internet and benchmark applications for most of them already exists. I don't like reinventing the wheel... Therefore I picked the most modern encoder - H265/HEVC. Only one benchmark exists (that I know of) and it isn't really suita…

  11. Hi Trying to run Gpupi for CPU but fail to run with error message CL_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY. Anyone knows about this error? Could it be a missing Visual C++ Redistributable library? 12. I'm starting with nvidia 7 series, and 3DMark06, currently on XP x64. Changing LOD/mipmap bias in rivatuner doesn't seem to do anything... Kinda getting the feeling that efficiency doesn't matter as much in 3d as it does in, say, 32m, because you can just use a current gen CPU. I still need to get at least the basics for efficiency tho. Any good forum threads? I wasn't able to turn hardly anything up via google. thx

  13. Hi, just to the point i want to share performance between windows 11 and windows 10, you can share yours too, maybe some benchmark better or slower on windows 11 vs windows 10 Geekbench 3 Windows 10 21H1 vs Windows 11 Dev Leaked Build. I think performance is within margin of error, can be because different bios version, but all settings is exactly the same.

  14. Hey everyone been a long time creeper to the site but just decided to join… I’m having some weird results in PR that I can’t explain and I was wondering WTH is going on ?. First I can’t touch the scores for 3090 2x running identical or better frequency and we are talking 2k points off with two KP cards. I’ve verified all my settings 3 times and even revisited my cpu stuff which shouldn’t matter as everyone knows. Second I’m having the same issue with a 4090 on a completely different platform (ecc on or off) I had no issues with 20 series cards. ( as high as 24th with a chiller ) what’s going on with the UL leader boards?

Hey hi, so ok I know that some bench software runs better in windows XP like benching pi, so my question is does it make a difference or is there an advantage to using one OS over another because I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, if I use windows 7 I believe scores would be higher because the OS isn't phoning home like windows 10, and the phoning home uses resources of the PC that could be used during the bench, so in that case I would think windows 7 would be a better bench OS, am I wrong? If I am what am I missing in the big picture?

So sorry if I am beating a dead horse here but I just recently joined the OC club and was using Asus's XTU to overclock my Intel i9-7900x and then I discovered HWBOT and was not sure anymore what difference it makes of using Asus XTU or just the normal XTU. Since I have an Asus Rog Strix X299, which one is better or do you guys have a preference? I guess the normal XTU is more up to date? No?

  21. UL Benchmarks announced the availability of a new disk subsystem benchmark as part of the 3DMark suite. It has been specifically designed with the gaming performance in mind of SSDs, HDDs, hybrid drives, and other storage devices. Very interesting Test for HDD/SSD section, plan to use on HWBOT? https://benchmarks.ul.com/3dmark/buy-storage-benchmark-dlc

  22. First off the poll is anonymous so only leeghoofd will know how you voted, feel free to be honest. CPUZ is a silly bench but its one of the most sought after by the chip makers. In the past it seems to have been a gentleman's game to keep the chip how its intended with all cores active. (behind your back you are being shamed if you disable cores) I assume there are two parties here and also an opinion from the AU guys that I couldn't even dream of anticipating. (no offense). One being you're an idiot and a try hard if you leave all the cores on and Two you bring shame on your family name for disabling cores. Just curious what the consensus is in the community…

I'm trying to get a better OS for 32m, been using tinyXP/MicroXP, but I know there's better. I tried using Barbonenet's .tib, but it kept randomly rebooting for no apparent reason. It would just reboot while sitting on desktop. So I decided I'd go ahead and make my own with nLite, and this guide from Barbonenet is exactly what I wanted, but all the pictures are broken... https://www.hwlegend.tech/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7907 Does anyone know where I could get something like this, or a list of what not to remove or anything that might help me? Or a premade .ISO or anything really. thanks

Hi, I have a Xeon Phi 3120A in my PC and I have installed the latest OpenCL runtime for Xeon Phi. GPUPI-CLI.exe -l shows the Phi under "OpenCL Accelerator" but trying to use it gives an error saying that there's no device found, and GPUPI.exe doesn't recognise the Phi at all. I'd appreciate some help with trying to troubleshoot this issue. Thanks. Edit: attached is a screenshot of the command line GPUPI-CLI, GPUPI.exe GUI and another command line showing that the Phi is online.

  25. OC Snap from TechPowerUp, is a lightweight utility that allows you to launch a set of other applications, and pre-program the position of the windows of the launched applications. Multiple instances of the applications, with their desired tabs can be programmed. This utility is particularly useful for professional overclockers and PC enthusiasts, to launch key applications such as CPU-Z and GPU-Z after achieving an overclocking or performance measurement worth sharing with others. After scoring your feat, simply run the application to load your window location profile and use the same utility to take a screenshot. Hiwa also made a video, showing it in action: …
