  1. Some people have issues with USB port on this mobo after lots times benching under Ln2. Bcz the Polyfuse will break if temp lower than -40 degree. here are 3 pictures of Polyfuse locations on this mobo . You can remove the polyfuse and short both pad with tin . Then usb should work again.

  6. MOCF vrm can handle 9900k no problems. On ln2 no heatsink required, the cold from full pot is enough. However if you are pushing hard on ambient, or even SS then you should use heatsink. Can run without heatsink on air for quick tests fine, but if you benching hard then use heatsink. EDIT: Upon further testing from @Splave, its best to use heatsink on vrm at all times, even under full pot ln2

  7. not planned no I tried again last night and you can lower the volts a lot to more like coffee 1.7-1.72vcore seems to be the max of scaling on what ive tried, you can go higher but was less stable for me (1.7 vs 1.72 was almost a full degree colder load) 1.65 CPUPLL can try up to 1.80 there is some scaling (credit to BigBlock) 1.45-1.55 vCCPLL 1.4DMI 1.4VCCIO 1.34VCCSA 2.1CB Killer to help restart at -170ish and can lower to 1.800 in OS not sure it really helps that much

  13. Different sockets yes, similar to AM3/AM3+, I will increase the nr of subs in this stage to at least 8 looking at the comments, I wanted to avoid Intel domination and benching on a single motherboard type for at least 3 gens 😛 Gosh, not this discusion again/ I see it this way: we bench thousands of euro hardware but don't want to buy a xx euro licence ? I bought the entire UL 3DSuite for less than 20 euros last week. Be creative... I know you can

  14. Hi all, I am wondering whether this was ever thought or not, and if that could be implemented... for competitions such as the current team cup, a valid link is often necessary for 3dmark products, for instance for 3d11 performance, 3d11 extreme, fire strike normal, ultra, extreme, time spy, etc I do not hold valid keys for some of those and find prohibitive, not to say something else, to buy all the necessary keys to post one score I may never bench ever again... for instance 3d11 extreme, I never do that one but for the cup, stage 7 ddr3 requires it. my question comes here: since hwbot calls for validation links, would it not be an option, and somewhat desired, to have at hand temporary licensed keys offered by 3dmark, for the time of the competition and getting invalid as soon as it ends, to benchers that participate ? Cheers
