  1. Single league or elite/everyone would work for me, but I know a lot of people like the rookie/novice idea. I went from enthusiast to extreme when I bought a SS, I still went up in points which is what mattered, so I've never really got the whole needing multi league thing other than ego stroking

  2. I think you are overreacting. Changes like this should be done when you have a functional platform. There are tons of bugs and features that don't work as intended, everything is messed up, it will take a while untile new programmers fix the crap that Frederik did and you guys are debating what sort of league system is best.

  3. Irrelevant if you go to a 2 or 3 league scheme. No loopholes. End of arguments..........and need of proof.

  4. So for those that slept the last months under a rock, it is sort off official that HWBOT ownership has passed on from the original developper Frederik to the Thermal Grizzly company. Before continuing I would like to thank Frederik and the staff ( or whats left of it ) to have kept the Bot up and running, especially for the last year. I've had several phonecalls with the new owners and they stressed the Bot will remain a free service to the OC community. The main goal is to preserve the database, fix initially some major bugs and revise the current point calculation. Now every

  6. Nah all about making the big changes in one go, instead of having lots of complaints as each change comes in, get them all out of the way

  8. But they are not stable, and will never be until you can prove positive the cooling method used. League segregation by cooling method is bullshit. There are more exploiters out there than you think.

  9. Two binned B die kits capable for spi 32m waza. #1. G.Skill F4-3600C16D-16GTZ, 300E plus shipping Very reliable kit, very stable for - 4133 12-11-11 1.99-2.00 vDimm on M8 Impact/ M9 Apex/M10 Apx/OCFM. Can apply tight sub-timings setting directly of ASUS MB. But I can't find all the screenshot for reference as I lost my previous binning hard disk. Only have an early screenshot. 10. The naming could change??? Who is Elite??? ---- ES hardware, LN2 benching, Points, Total Points?? <- I saw a History show on the (British) SAS. There was no - I Think I'm good enough to be - IF YOU WERE - then you would already be in the SAS unit !! There is NO want to be an Extreme Bencher - You Benching ________ (20+???)subs with LN2 you are shooting to be the next - SPlave/OGS/bigblock990/ Top % of overclocker's. This also has a Points/Time Limit -> Not everybody can be the TOP % so if you slack off/haven't benched in _________ you drop back/down a slot/ranking. I Know...I

  11. Tottaly agree! No reason to be separated into leagues. You can filter results by cooling method, so if you wanna check you are the best with one method, you just use the filters, no need to be in whatever league.

  12. Yeah unfortunately Benchmate doesn't cover all benches so it wouldn't work for temperature monitoring. Even if something like that was implemented, people would just bench the non Benchmate benches and be done with it if they wanted to get around it. As it was proposed to me in the Discord, Elite/Everyone Else/Rookies(3mo-6mo timeframe) sounds good especially if the algorithm is changed to reflect points past 75%. Those lower ranked will get points still, and if they want more points they can move up in cooling solution.

  13. Yes, this sadly happens, otherwise I would certainly ship HWiNFO with BenchMate. I have talked to Martin (HWiNFO's dev) about that and we are trying to figure out a way to solve the problems with mixing and matching different versions of HWiNFO.

  14. HD 5770 does not do double precision, so no GPUPI action there. Need baby Cypress (HD 5830) for GPUPI.

  15. Processor doesn't support AES-NI instruction set, so BenchMate can't verify that the files haven't been tampered with. I have already wrote a backwards-compatible code path that no longer imposes that limit. It will be released with BenchMate 0.11.

  16. Leauges is always a sensitive issue. We have the current league system because people were complaining that those using phase didn't want to be compared against those using LN2 etc. No matter what you do 50% of the people will be annoyed.

  18. Thanks dude, yes it is the kind of approach i always use.. i was mostly talking about more hidden settings etc.. that could help me in then stabilizing the overclock, however i already changed the ram kit

  19. Thanks Guys! @TerraRaptor Yes i try it with CL5 but (©by Comedy Show Little Britain) The problem was that i couldn`t adjust the CL value via Memset and with a CL value of 5 in the Bios i couldn`t boot ;-( The lowest timings i had yesteday were 6-5-4-14-48-1T (NB@1,63v / RAM@1,90v) Thank you for the idea to make the ram cold. if you only have garbage ram in the house you have to take extreme measures😅
