  1. That preview picture is misleading for batch hunters And NO, rampage extreme is not better than P5E3-Premium.

  4. Thanks all. That's not the HOF, but the simplest model RTX 3090 SG. Best wishes.

  6. i´d like a cpu-frequency fullout. therefor a cheap pentium 4 can be as strong as an 10900k. lots of LN2-fun for small money maybe best 5 in different nm, so you can´t only use skylakes like 6700k, 7700k, 8700k, 9700 and 10700k, but have to use for exsample a 14nm cpu, 32 nm cpu, a 45 nm cpu, a 65 nm cpu...?

  7. As someone who is pretty new here thank you for saving it. The community is fantastic and it would have been a big loss. Looking forward to what you have planned!

  8. Late update but I'm a nut for daily tuning and as far as 1T vs 2T goes, 4200 16 1T is very, very close in performance to 4400 16 2T in stuff like time spy cpu, superpi etc., I just like pushing the daily stuff to the limit. 😉 As an answer to my own question I tested two different kits and it was definitely a kit-limitation that had a roof at 4200 1T as it was easy to go beyond that on the other two kits.

  9. @pepinorang We need XOC bios for i3 on XPower. The 173 can't do full pot because PLL volts are limited at 2.0. The GOC bios won't go higher than 125 bclk.

  10. Tapakah is using Z170I GAMING PRO AC (ITX), but I have posted 2000-2047 12 12 12 28 220 1T tight results on Z170A XPOWER GAMING TE.

  11. Yes I can do 2100 12-11-11 32M + Wazaa with my ES sticks. I'm trying to get them to unlock SA above 1.35v for max frequency and implement ACPI on this one too...

  12. Some progress from MSI on B-die clocks: (it's worth to note that all setup components are retail, bought with own money, no vendor samples)

  13. Look closer at my screenshots man, I used the HOT v2 BIOS. You can also ask HOT participants, BIOS is running 200% perfect with AFR! However if you try to compare Mini-ITX board with ATX you're doing it wrong... Z170I GAMING PRO is 130~150MHz better than XPOWER on RAM and I believe it's the same for Impact.

  14. It's not only the kit, trust me I compared with this kit myself and XPOWER can bench tRCD/tRP 1 value tighter than some other vendor. Same for my AFR at LN2 (11-15-15 vs 11-16-16) and might be the same for B-Die (I quickly tested once today and could POST at 3866 12-11-11 1.85v but unstable).

  15. @Random It seems 4000 ratio has some issues with E-Die (AFR/D-Die are fine) on latest BIOS, but it works fine if you boot at 99MHz baseclock, then adjust in OS. Just a quick and dirty test below, 4000 12-18-18 is no problem. OS crash at 4080 with those timing, to be continued...

  16. Bios 1.41 fixed the reboot issue. I can also confir that 4 dimm now work with 1T. Have also done some testing on 4 dimm vs 2 dimm and there is NO performance gain when pushing frequency and timings with both 2 dimm and 4 dimm. However I have a problem with my board. It's probably just my board, and problem probably occurred during LN2. But it gets stuck with USB over current protection and shuts off after 15 seconds. I've tried to disconnect all USB devices of course but it doesn't help. Looked at the USB ports but they seem fine. Sometimes I can get the board to boot after resetting bios

  17. Updated thread with latest BIOS, Ln2 OC Guide v1.4, MSI GAMING CPU-Z v1.74 (new fonts colors, much clearer as requested by many ocers) and Command Center Lite version which now works with all BIOS. Lots of updates in OC Guide v1.4: - Useful Info, BIOS and Utilities revised - Ln2 Tips revised - Ln2 Voltage Table revised - CPU ST/ST V6 & PLL OC Voltages revised - How To Max Out CPU revised - How to move CB & CBB lower revised - Added BONUS Part 2 with hardmod for CPU ST For now, I recommend to only use latest MP/BETA BIOS from this thread for XOC. EDIT: New Test BIOS based
