  1. Want a chance to overclock your gear with the most advanced fully automated, ice free LN2 systems in the world? Live in the DFW Metroplex? Have a good stout or IPA on hand? If you can answer yes to all three of the above, let's set some records! Did I mention I'll buy the LN2? In fact let's get sponsors and throw a DFW/LN2 party!

Check my sale post. I'll post to AU. I haven't done a lot of ambient overclocking but you can see a full range of XTU scores here http://hwbot.org/user/lnlcooling/#XTU_Profiles
  3. I was able to find my XTU profiles 4 the chip covering everything from ambient to ln2. Hwbot.org/user/lnlcooling/#XTU_Profiles Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. Yes. I will post some stuff in the afternoon tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. Sent back the original board for RMA and they sent everything brand new in box back... ASUS is AWSoME!!! All brand new and ready to rock! - $275 5960X is listed in another post <image>http://forum.hwbot.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=5584&stc=1&d=1492015151<image>
  6. This is a bad-ass chip. I paid 1200 new 1 year ago from Amazon. Happened to be a fantastic chip. Surface has been very slightly lapped for better thermal contact. Performs in the 98th percentile non-overclock settings and in the 80th percentile on LN2 (which has more to do with my lack of knowledge of optimal OC settings). You can see the chip benchmark here I'm not a pro overclocker, but I have had this chip stable on 8 cores at 5600. I have clocked it up to 5800. If someone was a little more OC astute they'd probably rock with this chip!
  7. I'll be there. Anyone need to split a room? Looking like very little under 1000 per night. Anyine know if any deals?
  8. First time playing 6700k. Running OCC X One (single head). These videos highlight basic set-up temp set points and cooling and heating rates. Will be posting up some benches soon too. Was kinda proud of myself though as I was able to bench at 6100 mhz on the first try. did superpi 1m at 6.187 sec.
  9. Not sure where the 5.0 comes from but in the video i think it was running a little over 5.4 We run Firestrike at 5.4-5.5 Of course we are working with some pros to show some record results, but in the meantime here are some subs with the OCC running higher: Of course they're not #1 scores, but here are some 5960x scores a little higher than 5.0 to wet the whistle before our partners show some extraordinary results (keep in mind we are just using a off-the-shelf 5960x - in no way binned): Cinebench R15 @ 5500 Cinebench R 11.5 @ 5480 Super Pi 1m @ 5630 Super Pi 32m @ 5630 Hwbot Prime @ 5671
  10. Thanks Marc. I'm looking forward to getting one of these in your hands for a review soon. What do you think?
  11. Hey guys. Just started the thread on our new systems here http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=161967
  12. We have made a practical leap in technology and design since we released the original OCC last year. OCC systems are now fully modular, very easy to mount and use, totally dry, powerful and ready to unleash easy hours of benching. Heads are totally controlled and easily set to desired temps. Warm up time, even from -180C is really fast (-180 to -150C might take 1-2 minutes at most by simply pressing "set point" and programming -150). Because of the purge system, there is no condensation or ice on any gear within the case. We expect this feature to be a really big deal to the OC community saving hours of set-up time and elongating bench time to the desire of users never again to end by condensation. We have run our systems for many consecutive hours just learning how to bench while having never applied any insulation to any of our gear. here's a pic of the OCC in the new purge case the new heads the new windows 10 control software Below is a video of setting up and chill. The set-up portion is sped up about 40% so the actual set-up-to-chill time is actually about 15 minutes. The video shows the OCC being fed off of our 20l dewar. While we aren't supplying pressurized small dewars, if there is interest I can show how we did this with ours. We usually run the OCC off of our gas company's supplied 180l dewars. The OCC runs off of low pressure (22 psi). Note - The vid shows a prototype purge case which we have updated to the production case above.
  13. Nailed it! Ha you rock bro! Thanks for the awesome weekend in Harrisburg! You really introduced me to a true community of comrades that not only help one another to win but celebrate their competitors victories when they get beat! That's a rare find. Diamonds in the rough!
  14. Chilling with OCC X DUAL at the PA LN2 Party. Thanks steponz and funsoul. You guys threw a great one!
  15. Hey everyone! On the puddle jumper in Chicago now. Arriving in Harrisburg later this morning. Gonna grub and hit the sack for a bit. Caught red-eye flights from Cali. Is anyone going to the hardware store today? I gotta pick up some Teflon tape. Maybe I can catch a ride if anyone's going this afternoon.... BTW I brought two OCC X duals. This is actually a real unveiling! Only one overclocker has even seen photos. I also brought my zero ice purge case. Can't wait to show and tell! Hopefully a couple guys might be interested in taking an OCC X Dual for a spin this weekend!
  16. Gonna start a new thread with the new OCC-X in a day or so, so keep your eyes out and sub! But don't let the name fool you. The OCC-X is an absolute beast! Will have videos, photos and benchmarks with the X. It's not only a beauty,,,, its a beast! Keep an eye out! This thread will include results from the heroes at the upcoming east coast gathering, "LN2 Party" sponsored by Corsair, where I'll be with the OCC-X and a purge set up (can anyone say ZERO ICE!) Look out for the next LNL thread!!!
