Thanks for the response; I'm relieved that you're still kicking around this thread. I'm doubly relieved that none of MSI's official BIOSes will gimp my CPU and install prohibitive microcode. I'm just a drop in the consumer bucket, but MSI has got my love for being consumer-friendly and keeping the OC non-k options alive. Thanks pepinorang!!

Thanks for this, just picked up an i7-6700 and was hoping to up the juice on it a little. Are these BIOSes still being worked on, or were they a one-off gift to OCers? Specifically, I'm interested in C-states. Is there a hardware/technical limitation to them being disabled, or is there hope for them in the future?
