based on the different runs he got, his scores were bugged for sure.
but that is not the topic here...
It is most certainly relevant to the topic. The topic pertains to complaints of abnormally high transparent windows and encoding/virus scan scores. Same complaint that Frank's run was marked bugged for.
Nevermind. I'm talking to a wall here.
Good luck men.

Well Mr.Paco's one was sure bugged unfortunately
Based on the above info, I'm not so sure, and based on some of the other staff's input, I'm thinking they're not so sure either.
Btw he hasnt posted the 13-15k score that seemed to be not bugged at all, I hope he is not sulking (dont know the right word, sorry)
Nope. Sulking isn't his style. Just busy with other things right now.

Subscribed to see where this goes, as Mr.Paco was stripped of a WR for the exact same reasons. Is it bugged or not bugged, make up your minds.

Can we have the team captains get e-mailed when a team member's submission is blocked or disputed again please?
-
Clicking any of the tabs under "my team" causes an endless load in IE8. The page just tries to load over and over, forcing you to end task to stop it. This just started in the last day or two. It was fine before that.

I believe this whole issue was already brought up before the changes were made, was it not?
I also believe the outcome was as it stands now because there was no possible way to prove actual temp.
Why are we beating this dead horse again?
-
Read my lips.......You Can't Prove The Temperature.
Air is air no matter the temp, water is water no matter the temp.

With the new league separations, where does 'chilled water' come in, i.e. chilling it with a Hailea (http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cooling/2010/07/20/hailea-hc-500a-water-chiller-review/1) to about 6C? Will I get bumped from the Enthusiast to the Overclockers league? Some of us can't compete with Siberean and Nordic 'ambient' temperatures
Excellent question. IMO, water is water. Proving the temp is impossible.

hahhhh, if all of the ''broken'' submissions are mine, it's normal I always put the same validation link for my Pentium 1 submissions, maybe even Cyrix and Pentium MMX.
It's due that CPUZ 1.56 wasn't working on my GA-5AX. I don't know why everytime I tried to press F7 or F5, I had nor validation file nor screenshot file.
So I always provided a screenshot showing the real CPU Frequency like:
But if you know how to work last CPUZ + GA-5AX + Pentium/Cyrix, feel free to tell me it would be amazing
Seriously?? That makes those submissions invalid due to improper SS. I've seen other's submissions blocked for that here.
hmm, used my ga-5ax a few days ago and had no problems.
Interesting.

Fixed.
Good run Jon.

Link to the other bugged run please.......if it hasn't been removed.
Also, thanks to the staff for taking the time to look and not just blowing it out of the water.
And a personal thanks to Alex.........just because I like Alex and he's always been straight up with me.

I wasn't worried about Frank co-operating, I'm worried that he's not being given a fair shake.
-
One would think a 2+ hour un-interupted video from OS install to end product would be valid proof.
-
i used up to 7 i-rams and it didn't influence any test other than the hdd tests.
Perfect. That's what I wanted to know in the first place. Honestly guys, you could just volunteer the information instead of making us pull teeth to get it. All we're looking for is validation of the score or a valid, proveable reason why it's blocked.
I must have mis-understood this post then.
i have 15 i-rams, but don't use so many because i have no controller for that.
-
I did it, well not with i-rams, but with SSDs,
Then you didn't really do it, did you?.........I'm just sayin'
-
i have 15 i-rams, but don't use so many because i have no controller for that.
That's where ingenuity comes into play.
also, the i-rams don't influence the audio\video encoding.
And we can prove this how?, since nobody has run that many before.
-
the only thing that pops up at me in the face when i look at this score is the audio encoder being out of line with other people on the same setup...
Really?......you know other people running 8 I-rams?
-
I know the XP start up is over in that win7 run, it was only to show compared results vs the XP run. Wasnt meant for a submission.
I understand.
-
XP startup is slightly over the cap Frank. Not a submissable entry but it should prove your point.
Also, thank you Alex and the rest of the staff for taking time to figure this out. I realize the score looks out of line, but it's set up on an odd, and to my knowledge, never used before storage method. It actually could be correct. Don't be so quick to diss it because it's an unknown factor. I'm sure Paco will co-operate and give you any added info you might need.
Again, thanks for at least looking into it. At least a few in the community are willing to help out. That makes me feel like there is hope for the rest of you.
-
Be a helpful community instead of a bunch of f'ing cut throats. I hate that most about this site.
The guy only wants to learn.
I can assure you there was no intentional cheat.
-
Would somebody care to explain this so called "bugged" run please?
Standard encoder was used. Multiple runs were made, all resulting in scores between 15000-18000. This can be reproduced at any time. Bare in mind that Multiple I-rams were used. Paco can give details of the setup as needed.
Instead of just bitching and calling him a cheat, why don't one of you hotshots actually try and help the guy out with diagnosis.

It's hot here too. That's why I'm having a hard time. I have 0 chips that will do 2800 on water any more. I'll probably have to break out the chiller again, but that means I'll have to change motherboards. My Ultra B has a nasty CBB.

It's actually all tabs under "my team". I have the same issues with IE8.
Would really like to see this fixed 'cause it blows hard.
