I appreciate your assistance you made complete sense so leaving cpu wont effect much in game? I am better off ocing video card? Msi after burner doesn't allow me to touch the GPU core voltage but it lets me adjust the clock and memory..

I got a new laptop It is showing 2.7 ghz but its suppose to be dynamically overclocked up to 4.1 but never shows that with cpuz said it showing average of 3.5ghz. My question is. How do I use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to overclock my speed of my cpu to be faster? what settings do I adjust? for faster processor is it literally just the "Processor Core Ratio?" When I do that to 4.1 I noticed the speed rises in cpuz but the system also shuts down. If the system shuts down, DO I have to up the voltage? also, How do I go about overclocking my 980m 8 gig video card to preform a lot better on high end games like call of duty? What simple settings must I adjust to allow it to preform better. Thanks for any assistance.
