  1. On a lighter note. Christian did kind of warn us about this. See post #16.

I can't help but picture him; sitting at his home looking at us "lemmings" struggle against each other for the past couple weeks... It must have been quite entertaining to him to see OCF and OCN trade blows all this time; all the while, he knew he had this in the bag and we were basically fighting for second place. :D

    lol yea... no kidding.

  2. Not quite. Rejected CPUz validations happen on many other AMD sockets and it has nothing to to with stability. It has happened to me in the past, even before CPUz implemented the 3s delay on validations. It has to do with the way HTRef fluctuates on AMD boards and the way CPUz checks the frequency for validation.

Ambiguous rule is ambiguous is all I can say about this one. Valid link can easily be interpreted as having a url that links to an existing submission. I think that is how it is being enforced actually because if it weren't we'd have a lot of the newer FX submissions get taken out of the rankings due to their being "rejected" by CPUz.

Please, don't see my replies as any attempt at antagonizing any teams here. I just want clarification of the rules that apply. :D

For clarification, I would not get away with it. So I've never posted a no valid cpu-z. If it was, it got flagged, removed/validated properly. This is partly because my team captain would not allow it and HWBot rules state VALID.

If FX cpu-z aren't valid, it's not valid. The cpu is beyond it's top frequency, the save file barely made it and the validator knew all about it.

  3. Meh, hotheads:D Shut up or I'll get my dewar filled and run my Opteron 1224 again:p aaaand see if my nf7-s 2.0 is working:D

The voltage is sick for chilled water, but 3900 is definately doable if you can boot into windows without frying the chip:p

Lol Bruce, your just a BAMF, and I mean it.

To be honest I was in awe.

    A. Angry needed that much V-core for that cpu-z and

    B. it was done on a water block.

Blows my mind!! So big thumbs up to Angry for actually pulling it off! Yes Good.

@ Opty - I'd be interested in seeing what mine would do chilled. Recon I'd give ol Bruce here a run with it!!

But your right. Most of these chips have cold bugs.

@ Angry. Your doing a great job. Glad you get a rise like I do :D. So you can keep pushing. You've gotta have more!!! Keep it up!!

  4. Hey thanks Paco!!

It's been a wild ride over here. This board did not post the past two weeks. I slapped in a DVD rom drive on the IDE cable, and it came back to life.

Also, it's a trip how much different the temperatures are without the IHS plate.

    EDIT:

Also just noticed this submission is 25th with liquid cooled and a picture. Unlocked achievement WOOT!! :D
