TPP. This goes against the principle of encouraging benching
I don't think large majority of people will spend the time to understand option #3. And if they did it would be a lot of work to check an entire teams scores to maximize points. #2 is the best option if I understand it correctly. Its a team competition so the best team score for any hardware should always count. Even if the same user is generating the points.

Good catch. Sounds like Team points are calculated based on user points. And not on the raw points of each submission.

REV4 up and running! Questions, suggestions, feedback goes in here
So 1st place in a hw category with 9 participants is worth 2/10 = .2 team points. And maybe 2 individual hw points, if its in your top 20 submissions. Honestly this doesn't matter to me much. But I think many people would be happy to see this changed. Plus it would encourage people to continue to bench unpopular hardware. I see people who won't submit .1 results. It actually hurts the database as a whole. Just my 2c.

REV4 up and running! Questions, suggestions, feedback goes in here
//From the bug thread. If it takes 10 participants to generate PP AND if you have >20 hw submissions, unique (unpopular hardware) is pointless again (pun intended). In Rev 3 you added the 2 point "freebie" points to unpopular hardware. Many people who bench this hardware do it for their team. Right now they are getting 0 team points and no hwpoints because it fell off the bottom of their submissions limit (as apposed to adding up to 300 hw points). Can you reduce the # of participants needed to generate PP. Or add "freebie" PP points like you do with HW points?

The REV4 public test server! (feedback welcome)
Hey I found my friend the drunk bot! http://uat.hwbot.org/benchmark/3dmark03/rankings?start=0&cores=2&hardwareTypeId=videocard_1476 Edit: Will the [hwbot] tags still work in rev 4? I'd hate to loose by best thread http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=646030

The REV4 public test server! (feedback welcome)
Pro OC = ∑ [top-15 (global + wr)] - OC = ∑ [top-15 (global +wr) + top-20 (hardware)] - Enthusiast = ∑ [top-15 (global) + top-20 (hardware)] (only results on stock, air or water and with picture of system) So HW points wont count for Pro OC league. Are you mad about the OC league? Way easier to get globals in 3d anyway. So a 2D master won't instantly be #1 in OC league either.

Points for CPU-Z?
I'd like to see an 8ghz celly submission that was " just cool and press f7". Most require an old/rare mobo with hard mods. Tin pulled the IHS off of his for 8199. /voted yes yes //a poll that might hit 200+ votes!

Do you mean that only captains will be able to see power team ranks/points? Will there be api or [ hwbot] tags that show powerteam ranks/points? We could just make our on pages/lists. Cool. That will make a lot of people happy.
