Hi, We are not an overcloker team, but we are really interested in your achievements with MSI 890GXM-G65. We are a university research team looking for a platform for building a cheap cluster and we found this board to be one of the little with MicroATX form factor and heatsink on the CPU power supply. But ... we are not able to break the 265 Mhz FSB barrier (with full stability)! Perhaps there is a magic combination of the board voltages in order to get these marvellous 293Mhz. Could you provide this information? Regards

Hi Funkflix, We have seen your Record "9min 53sec 880ms with Intel Core 2 E8400 (3.0Ghz) A 4700MHz the 19-abr-2008" in HWBOT and it is really fantastic perhaps the best record for that CPU speed (even for the E8600) , only 4700Mhz. Could you share some of your secrets? We are a team, not of overclokers, but researchers and we are looking for a not expensive platform for intensive computing. The XFX nForce 790i plus E8400-E8600 is one of them. Do you reach that record in a simply way? We are not able to perform such as you done because of the memory timings. Do you select specially the Mushkin memories or it was a lucky question? Were you able to boot from Windows with those timings? Have you repeated the record or it was only an isolated overclocking sesion? Have you information about memory bandwidth for that configuration with EVEREST or SANDRA? We suppose it should be fantastic, perhaps over 13000MB/s. Thanks in advance
