  1. Imho it's nearly the perfect AM3-board. The only feature I'm missing is loadline calibration.
  2. Thanks for your offer. But since these models don't have high priority for me at the moment your prices are higher than what I want to pay currently.
  3. Thanks for the link. Will search myself again when I have more time...
  4. Yes, still looking. UT NF3 Ultra-D: I already have one. SLI-DR Expert and Ultra II-M2 are interesting offers. But since I had bad luck with nForce4-boards lately (bought three boards and none of them worked for me) I have to know if they are working properly. Can you tell me something about your boards and their prices?
  5. Found three items from my list over at Ebay, still looking for all other hardware...
  6. You're absolutely right. I saw only the information my eyes wanted to see.... Here is a "list" of all supported boards, taken from the booted ISO. Five boards I own are missing: - DFI LanParty DK 790FXB-M3H5 - DFI LanParty Pro875B - DFI LanParty 875P-T - DFI LanParty UT 915p-T12 - DFI LanParty GF9400-T2RS Beside these five I know that - DFI LanParty KT400A - DFI LanParty 925X-T2 existed. These aren't "supported", too. But this ISO is a very, very good start. Thanks again for the hint!
  7. knopflerbruce gave me a hint. He sent me this link. Unfortunately none of the sources behind the link worked but due to his hint I knew what to look for. After a bit of searching the web I found a working link for Tmod DFI BIOS-CD (seems to be one of the latest versions, 11.2.1): Click! I tried it with my UT nF590 SLI-M2R - works perfect. Now I have about 10 bios-versions for this board and lots of other DFI-boards are supported. But only AMD-based ones. So still looking for bios for Intel-based DFI-boards. But it's a good start... Thanks for the hint, knopflerbruce!
  8. Currently I am looking for bios-files for older mainboards. But often it's a tough job to find versions for them, especially for vendors like DFI, EPoX and so on. Does anybody have a suggestion where I can find files for these models (or maybe someone have files on his storage): - Chaintech CT-7NJS Zenith - DFI Infinity nF4 Ultra-U - DFI LANPARTY 875P Pro B - DFI LANPARTY 875P-T - DFI LANPARTY DK 790FXB-M2RS - DFI LANPARTY DK 790FXB-M3H5 - DFI LANPARTY DK P45-T2RS Plus - DFI LANPARTY DK P45-T3RS Plus - DFI LANPARTY JR GF9400-T2RS - DFI LANPARTY UT 790FX-M2R - DFI LANPARTY UT 915P-T - DFI LANPARTY UT nF3 Ultra-D - DFI LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R - DFI LANPARTY UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R - EPoX 8RDA6+ Pro - EPoX 9NDA3J - FOXCONN BlackOPS (beta-bios) - Leadtek K7NCR18D Pro II Deluxe Limited - Shuttle AN50R For DFI-boards in general I can use this site but it doesn't contain all models by far. For EPoX I couldn't find a good source at all. I think this is a situation where more people are faced with. So maybe we can collect bios files like in the thread for coldslow/coldbug for gfx. And maybe hwbot can host them? What do you guys think?
  9. Thanks to bartx I can remove a few things from my list. Still looking for the other stuff...
  10. Hi there, how much QX9650 do you have? I see one in the pictures with Batch L740A487. If you have multiple cpus, can you please tell me the batch of the others? I assume all cpus are in working condition? And how much for shipping to Germany? Thanks!
  11. I just updated my list. Found some boards at Ebay, still looking for more...
  12. Thank you, that answer is good news for me. I think I have a good setup then for this stage.
  13. Quick question: SC3, Stage 6: I understand it that way that even Phenom/Phenom II are allowed. Am I right or wrong?
  14. Do you mean this one: Found this too. Beside the different expansion slot layout it has P/S2, COM and LPT near the sockets (which the correct motherboard don't). And because of the slot layout it is much larger.
  15. That it was made by ALR and that it uses quad Pentium Pro (socket 8) were the only information I could find by myself up to now. I searched a few hours and I came up either with ALR Revolution Quad 6 or ALR Revolution 6x6. Both don't seem to be right. At least I could find an image with higher resolution than yours:
  16. Here we go: Google image lookup says "motherboard". Seems to be right...
  17. I don't know if there are differences between both versions despite the chipset. Yours is a DFI Infinity P965-s Dark.
  18. That's not 100 % correct. It's an Chaintech 7NJS ZENITH (without Ultra). Difference is the chipset: nForce2 vs. nForce2 Ultra. The picture is taken from the review of the non-Ultra 7NJS on xbitlabs.
  19. Maybe easy. Back in the days I didn't know this board existed. A few days ago I found one on ebay.
  20. ASUS L1N64-SLI WS/B 2nd picture in google-search is the one you altered.
  21. Today I received a picture of a slightly bent pin on an ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition. This is the picture. In the upper right corner you can see an area where a few pins seem to be a little off their normal position. One pin however is bent slightly more than the other ones. Its in the 9th line from the top, 10th pin from the right. I just want to know what this pin is for and therefor searched some Intel-docs. I had a look in this pdf (figure 3-4., page 19). Note: If I'm not mistaken the pin is located in the lower left area and not in the upper right. When I mark the pin like this then it should be land V9. But according to this datasheet there is no land V9. Obviously I'm doing something wrong identifying the right land number. So please help. Thanks in advance.
  22. Maybe this is due to my crappy english but I don't want exactly the same amount of points for every benchmark. I just want to close the big gap that can occour between a global first place in a hardware category and a global world record (like mentioned in this post). A few points difference won't be a problem I think but in my opinion it shouldn't be more than about 15 points (not 50 like in my example). I totally agree. And up to a certain point it is ok. hwbot can't try to equal a rookie and a pro with unlimited support just with a point algorithm. I have a few suggestions: 1. I think one big thing is to adress the issue of the front page. A WR should always be in first position - no matter what amount of points it is worth. If multiple WRs are broken the same day then they all should be in front of all other scores - in descending order of points. Same applies to GFPs. WR in front of GFP in front of "normal" scores - all in descending order of points. hwbot could also highlighten WRs/GFPs in a colour different from "normal" scores or add an icon which shows a Gold cup or something similar. I have no I idea how hard to code this is but I think it would be worth it. Contrary to the current kind of implementation everyone could easily realize when a WR or GFP was achieved. 2. What about balancing global points a bit better between 2d and 3d and then limiting the points for rankings? Lets say we limit the amount of globals in the rankings to the amount of points you can achieve for three GFPs. If someone will break his first WR (this feels like heaven ) he will be awarded right and all points count for the ranking. If you accidentally break the second and/or third WR (like we did back in the days), everything is fine, too. If you get support and break further WRs then you are limited. Of course this change would hurt some people but as far as I know only a few - mostly those with heavy vendor support or a large sized wallet. For everyone else everything remains the same with slightly adjusted points. Would this be worth a try? Opinions welcome.
