With new BIOS 0079 even with LLC 4; it doesn't go higher than what you specify in Vcore so there's no danger. In older BIOS with LLC 5 you would see higher than specified in Vcore. I have it running on LLC 4 at 1.42 volts and it never surpasses 1.42.

Having issues with both 0082 and 0083 BIOS with CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R RAM Kit. Not going past 2133mhz. With 1002 it was running at 4.042ghz stable and RAM running at 3200mhz. It's not recognizing the manual input of RAM timings.

Test BIOS 0079
Test BIOS with new AGESA 1004a, with a couple of bugfixes. Up to 5% performance increases in specific applications. Also has P-state overclocking working with BCLK increase. If you want to keep C-states, make sure to set Advanced\AMD CBS\Zen Common Options\Global C-state Control = Enabled. There are two new settings under AMD CBS\UMC Common Options\DDR4 Common Options\ you might want to take a look at, Fail_CNT and ProcODT. Fail_CNT decides how many times to retry when DRAM training fails (F9 -> 0d), default is now 1. ProcODT can help improve your DRAM overclocking. There's a setting available also on previous BIOSes under AMD CBS\UMC Common Options\DRAM Memory Mapping named BankGroupSwap. If you have 2x Single-Rank modules you can try setting this to Disabled and you might see some performance boost in certain applications.
Test BIOS 0081
Same as 0079 but has ProcODT default = 53.3 ohm
Test BIOS 0082
Same as 0081 but with a DRAM compability patch for the below part numbers

Test BIOS 0083
Same as 0079 but with "2T" DRAM Mode when using above 2666 DRAM Ratio.
Elmor; more or less which applications or type of applications do benefit from the BIOS update, is it productivity related or gaming related. I'd appreciate the info; I'll update BIOS later on the week, using your 1002 on my Ryzen 5 review OCed. Thanks for all the work!

First of all; won't be replying specific questions about Ryzen 5 performance but its already known some units are available due to mistake of providers. I already OCed this CPU but during stress test (I turned it off after coming back and realized after 2 hours there were those spikes in voltage as it shows in the image).
Hopefully I can get some help why that happened and if its safe. I'm using BIOS 1001 and I got my RAM working with the OC up to 3200mhz which is rated (Vengeance LED 3200mhz CL16). I can confirm my RAM worked with 1001 (tried everything with 902 and did not work so I ventured to try 1001 and it worked on first try).
LLC is on 3 with Vcore Set on BIOS at 1.43. Even at 1.43 theres some jumps to 1.461v as you see; but those voltage anomalies worries me up a little bit and that CPU temp (temps were 78-80 degrees on load on stress test) but I suppose it went up to 89 degrees during that voltage spike.
Hope I don't stir drama which is not my intention but actually finding why the surge. I've seen in other posts some people getting jumping from 1.45 to 1.7 spikes but nothing like this.
The stress test I used is X264 stress test infinite loop 16 and normal.
If the mods feel like removing the picture I understand. Still I'm at your disposal and hoping I get some insight. Sorry if it causes any trouble and if a mod thinks this post should be removed I understand. Thanks.

I've seen a few people with 0 points within 1080 Ti ranking, I wonder if this is a reported bug, but letting you know. Thanks for all the work
