  1. Thanks. I'm still working on the 7GHz and hope to get it soon. Need to get some more LN2 first though.
  2. Thanks man. It’s been an adventure, a deadly adventure by the looks of my hardware graveyard down in the benching room.
  3. Thanks Massman. It's all chip though, my only involvement was feeding the beast. Thanks chew*. I think the chip may do 7GHz in another MB? I do own a GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 that I may test the 955 in next. I don’t own a UD7 though if that’s what it takes to reach 7GHz although I did check NewEgg today but they were out of stock. Anyway I’m all ears to any suggestions you may be will to share my friend.
  4. I just tried it while submiting a 3DMark06 score but I still didn't find a way to post two GFX cards using three GPU's (1x5970+1x5870, 3xGPU's)? I guess I need to research this a little more? Is there a way for me to edit some of my submissions if I find the correct way to select the right GFX card combination?
  5. I’m not sure this is in the right place so if not I guess it will be moved. Anyway I run different Ati GFX cards in crossfire, I call it mixed crossfire. The problem I having is finding a way to enter the correct number of GPU’s? If I’m using one 5970 (2xGPU’s) and one 5870 (1xGPU) that’s two GFX cards (only 3xGPU’s) but when I enter two GFX cards then start with the 5970 it always comes up as four GPU’s as I can’t find a way to enter the second GFX card as a 5870? Do I need to inter three GFX cards then use the 5870? That wouldn’t be right as if I’m not mistaken the 5970 is more akin to the 5850 (clocks) than the 5870? When I use one 5970 and two 5870’s (4xGPU’s) then enter three GFX cards the submission indicates three 5970’s? If I have overlooked something in one of the hardware boxes that will allow me to enter the correct GFX card combination please let me know?
  6. I tried to submit a 32M time a few minutes ago but I can't because the page states that the competition is over. Is the competition being stopped early?
  7. Nice, 4451MHz what did you do tell that 965 it was being replaced by a Thuban!
  8. Nice score equinox, looks like you're heading for the top to knock me off. I know your chiller is turned off and you're running on the room temp coolant in the box cause if not that score would be in the 14's. Besides that I've competed with you before and I trust you. Keep beatin on that 965 my friend.
  9. Yeah, the efficiency is low and not only in SPi but just about all the bench tests I have done with this system. As inept as I am testing Super PI I doubt I can take all the blame for the poor efficiency. This motherboard is a good CPU clocker. I wonder though if the bios is setup a bit loose which IMHO could account for the higher processor speed but at a lower overall system efficiency? But in the end it could be just me and only me?
