  1. Did you immediately install the chipset drivers after you got into the OS? The drivers it needs are in that package.
  2. Yeah, the registry is probably causing problems if it was installed with the older cpu. Its good to refresh the installs anyway. Keeps them fast.
  3. If you are using X570 it may require a usb driver hack or just plug your keyboard and mouse into usb 2.0 ports and see if that works. X470 should be fairly easy as you can download software that will auto inject the appropriate drivers for you.
  4. You can go to the rules link and it will tell you which OS you can run on each benchmark
  5. I found out what the deal was. When setting a custom 4k resolution which wasnt supported by my monitor W10 was scaling it to 150% which looked great on screen but for some reason Benchmate sees the normal resolution of 1920 x 1080 but keeping the 150% scaling that windows was doing which was cropping everything. Setting the 4k res and disabling the auto scaling that windows was doing allowed me to get everything in the screenshot hut I felt like Mr Magoo trying to read the text without scaling to make everything a normal size in relation to the resolution. Still would be nice if Benchmate could recognize the extended display but yeah, definitely some problem with custom resolutions and scaling being seen properly by benchmate. Im just going to add that to the growing list of why W10 is shit and put the blame there. W10 being at fault sounds like the more believable story anyway.
  6. Yeah, i suppose I will have to do that with R20 but during the benchmate comp I didnt have a problem uploading from the benchmate software. It always immediately linked to the comp. I also found a bug with custom resolutions through the Nvidia display settings. I have a 1920x1080 monitor and you cant fit CB R20 on it so I used nvidia settings to make a 4k resolution to fit it all on there. Well, it seems that benchmate doesn't recognize the resolution change and benchmate cut most of the screenshot out. Ill have to report it to Mat when Im home from work in a few hours so I can replicate it and confirm what it looks to be doing. The bench was just a rough trial bench so not worried about losing that score. Looks like manually uploading Cinebench runs will have to be how it is until the problem is patched.
  7. Submitted a CB R20 score through benchmate and I wouldnt link it to the competition so I tried to manually submit the .hwbot file that benchmate saved but that apparently got removed. Is there a way that I can have the benchmate submitted score linked to the comp? Or is there something within benchmate that im not seeing that will link the submission?
  8. The rendered scene isnt blocked. It is even with the bottom of the screen. Since benchmate doesnt want to take screenshots of both the primary and secondary screens this is what i had to do.
  9. ty, there are many that are much higher though. I had to keep the cold winter air blowing through my case as the 1.63v-1.65v was keeping it warm and it would not boot into windows going any higher with NVME drive. Maybe with another drive it could go higher but im not sure I want to try it again just yet, the chip does fine at 1.6v but I feel going much higher is dangerous without something better than an AIO cooling it.
  10. No, thats XFR dropping the voltage since no real load is being applied. At all core boost XFR was probably feeding it 1.53v-1.55v but it tends to give it a bit too much at times. For perspective, on my 4.45ghz daily setup it takes 1.45v to be IBT AVX stable.
  11. What is going on with the links to the 3dmark Vantage submissions that have already been made by teams? I try to view submissions by clicking the overall score and it only says "There are no submissions." So far it seems to be the case for any team that has all 3 submissions. The permalink brings up a Bitly "page not found" message. Is it only me or is this the case for others trying to view it as well?
  12. How to Flash different vBios to your 1080 ti Good information in this thread to those that are interested. Purely educational though ? Read thoroughly and flash at your own risk.
  13. For anyone interested, you can find information HERE on flashing bios' to different 1080ti cards. Read carefully and dont brick your card if you decide to flash your gpu as some bios' are not compatible with all PCBs. Of course its all purely informational in purpose and youd be flashing at your own risk ?
  14. Actually, i posted this with a profile that ran 3533mhz but the benchmark was ran at 3600mhz stable. I cannot go any higher and be stable though I can post up to 3733mhz with my current setup. Doubtful I could run a benchmark without blue screen on my stock cooling. CB is weird on how it uses Ram, it feels like it cares more about stability rather than raw speed or bandwidth.
