  1. I want to help my son OC his 7700K we are purchasing used. He currently has a G4560 with stock cooler and the 7700K should be on the way soon. The seller also has a used EVGA 120mm AIO water cooler he will sell me for $20 used. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HY-CL12-V1 We've maxed out his budget for this 7700K, 1060 SC GPU, and 750W PSU we bought. So I'm not even sure if the stock Intel G4560 cooler will work on the 7700K. But would it be an option to use the G4560's cooler on the 7700K and keep it at stock speeds until he had money for a better solution? Or should he jump on this AIO for $20?
  2. Thanks for the suggestions! We got the CPU - the seller is also offering an EVGA AIO Liquid Cooler with 120mm fan for $20 + shipping. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HY-CL12-V1 Would you recommend that over the Monoprice air cooler you linked? I've never done liquid cooling before. I know his case has the holes/grommets for it though. Just unsure about air vs a used AIO liquid...
  3. Looking to buy a 7700K for my son's build. He has a G4560 and a decent motherboard and wants to max out its potential. (Well, as far as a stock heatsink will allow.) I'd like to get him interested in overclocking, though I never was very good at it myself. Any suggestions for a basic air cooler are welcome as well. Thanks! Also in case anyone's curious...
