Registered just to say I have an i7-2600K... Batch: L038A659 #: 2083 I'm quite certain it's a dud. It runs incredibly warm (Stock settings: It idles at ~42C while Speedstepped down to 1.6Ghz @ 1v and tops out at 75C under load when turbo'd to 3.5Ghz) and I cannot get it to OC past 4500Mhz. If I set the Vcore any higher than 1.37v the system fails to boot. I'm using an Asus P8P67 PRO with the latest 1053 BIOS with the PLL Overvoltage fix (enabled). I'm heading back to the store today to exchange it hopefully.
