  1. @Andrix85: Would you like to chat somewhere and share what we're doing? Maybe I could help you find something that will work for you. Steam? Telegram? Discord?
  2. I used windows 7 and an older community tool that modifies the windows drivers to bypass nvidia's hardware checks so we can enable SLI on any hardware we want to. The tool was really popular a few years ago around 2010. The difficult part is figuring out which driver version is compatible with the tool that also will support the video cards I want to use.
  3. You manually edited the cinebench result file so it looks high. There's no possible way that processor can ever score 41K in R20.
  4. Nice score and congrats on the current world record! ........ How many chips did you have to burn through to find one that clocks this high?
  5. Where is your URL to your online result for the 3dmark website? I don't see it in your submission here.
  6. Could you post your 3dmark.com link for this submission please? I want to compare OC'd i3-6100 performance to some other systems I own.
  7. I think this can win the award for "Most Ghettoified Computer". And I thought some of my builds were ghetto, this takes the cake..
  8. Ticket ID: 1936 Priority: Low Please add in the LGA771 CPU Intel L5408 to the list. There is already L5410, but not L5408.\r\n\r\nSpecs for the chip are over here: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Low%20voltage%20Xeon%20L5408%20-%20EU80574JH046N%20-%20AT80574JH046NT.html
  9. I don't know where else to put this but I have a request to add in the LGA771 CPU Intel L5408 to the list. There is already L5410, but not L5408.
  10. Anyone else having problems getting custom results from the Advanced Submission Search? I used to get results just fine then one day every thing I search for comes up "No results." I've tried 3 different computers, my laptop, my mom's laptop.. I've tried away from home, I've tried at home... I can't figure it out. Is it broken for everyone or am I some how just doomed to never see results again? EDIT: Just leaving all the boxes blank returns lots of results, but if I put any criteria in any box, then it comes up empty. This is confusing.. I used to love using hwbot to find various paltforms and configurations but now I can't find anything
  11. I was under the impression that to gain points on this site "Find some combination of hardware that you own (or have access to) that there are no results for, go benchmark it and post it" is how we gain significant points. But it seems that was either a lie or is just not how the site works. This should be made a lot more clear to other folks so they don't waste time on odd combinations of things like I did. At least I know now... and more importantly, I know not waste time testing hardware for hwbot.org anymore.
  12. Okay, so, I thought if we submitted things in sections and ways that others have not submitted yet, we're supposed to get rewarded in decent points for it, or at least something. http://url.hwbot.org/12EoUYO First example here, I've submitted the only results using a AMD K6-2+/550 with a Geforce2 Ultra. I did get a silver cup for one submission, but exactly 0.0 hardware points, the other one got no cups but 0.1 hardware points. I realize these aren't the fastest processor, fastest single video card, nor the fastest geforce2, but they -ARE- unique entries with no competition. http://url.hwbot.org/12Ep2Yr And then here, I also submitted the only results with a AMD K6-2+/550 with a Riva TNT2 M64, no cups, one is exactly 0 points the other is only 0.1 http://url.hwbot.org/12EpdTs Third example, if you look at all submissions using a 7950 Gx2 video card in an I7-950, you can see I've submitted the only one for that combination with 3Dmark 2006. Again, I understand it's not the fastest for the 7950 gx2, nor the fastest for that processor, but it -IS UNIQUE- and no one else has submitted any like that, yet I only got 0.1 points for it??? So if we're not getting rewarded for unique submissions where we have no competition (I thought that was one thing we could get points for in this website???) then I guess I can just totally forget about ever submitting anything to this site in the future, as it's a complete waste of time. I could never hope to ever compete with any of the top spots in any category for any hardware because always the people that use phase/LN2 cooling take top spots and there's no chance for any normal people to ever compete with that. I was hoping I'd get points for unique submissions since I can't compete for top spots, but that doesn't reward points either, so... there's nothing I can do to be useful here.
  13. Well, after some delays IRL (Dinner, being forced to watch a TV show I didn't want to because "You don't socialize enough" ..... I have XP-32 installed on a spare hard drive, and I got the intel chipset drivers installed, and all versions of dot-net installed (ATI drivers usually require dot-net) and I'm attempting to install your modified package and not having much success... I found an installer under "11.9 mod\Packages\Drivers\Display\XP_INF" and it says it needs the Catalyst install manager, so I found that under 11.9 "11.9 mod\Packages\Apps\CIM\Win32", installed that, then tried the installer under "11.9 mod\Packages\Drivers\Display\XP_INF" again, and I get this: http://i.imgur.com/6VS85.jpg Also, none of the installers under "11.9 mod\Bin\" will actually do anything. Am I doing something wrong? ALSO I'm digging through the INF file and I don't see any clear-text matches for "HD 7770" I don't think this driver package originally supported the HD 7770. I see other HD 7xxx series in here, but.. not the 7770 I don't think. I tried to force-load the drivers through device manager, and both come up with "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" even after a reboot.
  14. No problem, I can still test for XP 32 vs 64, it's just I have 64 installed already. I'd have to throw in an IDE drive and stick XP-32 on it.... and probably slipstream x58 & Intel P45 drivers into a 32-bit disc.... I could have it done tonight, probably 4-5 hours.
  15. Downloading now, I'll get to testing it when done and report back in a little while, takes time to clean out all the AMD stuff in XP-64 side of my other computer and do a clean install. EDIT: Oh also, is this for XP-64 or XP-32? Working on it!
  16. I know I sounded rude and I'm sorry for that, but I know every time I post threads like this, lots of people come up trying to say non-helpful things about why I'm using XP still and I was trying to curve that So... AMD is offically dropping support for crossfire in XP starting with the 7xxx series? I thought maybe my software was not installed correctly or it was something wrong with my configuration.....
  17. Why I want to use XP-64 is not the issue of this thread. I'm trying to figure out how to make crossfire work in XP, not why, and not discussing the pro's or con's of using XP vs whatever. So.. unless you have something constructive to add about getting crossfire with modern cards to work in XP, please don't post. One thing I have't tried yet that I just thought of and might try is using XP 32 instead of 64, if it will mean getting crossfire support.
  18. So I have two Radeon HD 7770's, and I'm trying to run WinXP x64... but upon doing so, I've installed the latest 12.6 and 12.2 drivers, but I haven't tried anything older yet. In both driver versions, the CCC does not list any CrossFireX option anywhere inside of it with two HD 7770's installed. Does AMD not support CrossFireX in WindowsXP any longer? CrossFire works perfectly in Win7 x64 on the exact same hardware (in a different partition), fyi, so it's not the hardware, it's the software.
  19. for me it just opens and sits there forever, I've never seen it finish... just goes into the background and never comes up.
  20. 2001se won't run properly in windows 7 no matter what version you're using or compatability or hardware or what, just won't work. I've tried darn near everything, the only way I can ever get it to run through to completion is to actually install and run windows XP on the same hardware. So far, most all hardware still has XP drivers, although you'll probably have to look into slipstreaming intel/amd chipset drivers to the install CD or it'll bluescreen before it completes, if you're using anything x58-era or newer. If anyone else has any idea how to get 2001se to run properly in Win7 I'd be happy to hear it.
