Yes i think they are going to support it or somebody will backport it to Z270/Z370 As i dont think it is that complicated functionality (when they can basically enable it in few days for different platform after they found out that is working well)

So i applyed wire both wire mods and now successfully running on last bios version because i dont have coffe lake yet im still rocking i7-7700K https://valid.x86.fr/8vmzld

Is there anybody running I7-9700K without any hardware mod to this motherboard? I just decided to go and buy it as it is really cheap now and i want to pick some i7-9700K to go with after new 10gen of CPU is out. Should i HW mod it or just use CH341 for bios flash and thats it?

Can someone refresh steps which are required to make i7-8700k work? is CPU pin mods still required or it is allready handled by new BIOS? im thinking about buying "brand new" APEX IX Z270 because of this process (as good Z370 MB are pricy)
