michaelrw - Core i7 3770K @ 6824.1MHz - 5sec 297ms SuperPi
michaelrw replied to Schmuckley's topic in Result Discussions
Thanks fellas! It was a pretty frustrating session but I was finally able to pull out some subs before I finished -
we all have our opinions what marc said is completely possible, but so is everything beepbeep said. JL could be a very good bencher who is just really careless/thoughtless/unorganized/etc. However, JL could be a cocky motherfrucker whose arrogance ended up getting the best of him. For those of us who like to see the good in people, we may like to think he is just careless and made honest mistake. But just because we like to think that, does not make it true. Regardless, we will probably never know the whole truth of what happened. Whether he made a careless mistake or was cheating and got caught, he is a m.o.r.o.n. either way Good riddance :woot:

do keep in mind that a 6.6 chip isnt usually 6.6 for 3d ... maybe you would be king at CPUZ and 1M -

it's very, very sad. imagine what kind of person they are in real life if they have to cheat online. no morals, no values, no integrity. weak human beings.

whats the difference between the vid mod and the vcore mod? vcore mod is with 100ohm VR pot..
-
1. for those of us without the P0 bios, 1300 bios, or 1500 bios .. these bios are only for MOA invites? 2. where to find information about vgpu hardmod? just solder VR to the vcore pin on controller? 3. any suggestion for benching with the stock LN2 bios?

SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
michaelrw replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
that means they need to make more. its not fun to change heatspreaders to different modules.. it takes a lot of time and wastes a lot of TIM -

really nice chip. nice work -
:woot: just give it a rest dude. quit crying. this isnt an elaborate conspiracy against all the poor little overclockers. if you dont like der8auer, the hwbot staff in general, or the hwbot organization, then go overclock by yourself. then you and your friends can share scores with each other and feel cool. and i am not singling you out (not completely)... this applies to everyone who is still crying about JL/Mad222  :baby: :battle:

I would just like to say that I respect your viewpoint and your opinion, but do not agree. However, it is not fair for you to speak for everyone else. You make it sound like every overclocker agrees with you that JohnLam is a liar, and that only hwbot staff think he tells the truth. You also make it sound like the whole overclocking community disagree with the decision of massman and hwbot staff. Believe it or not, there are some people (maybe even myself) that still trust in the hwbot staff to make the right decision.

wonder why? i wonder if its the card itself, or gk104 in general.. oh gtx680 ... the never-ending headache

now i am hesitant to buy a new one for myself if voltage can not be controlled with ABX

maybe BIOS is messed up. have you tried with a different copy of the old BIOS file? What is the BIOS version that came with your card, and where did you buy it from?
