  1. Introductions/Purpose of This Thread Hello HWBot community! My name is Tim Vannerson and I am a technical intern working for Intel and have been involved in the most recent developments of XTU, particularly our new beta feature called AppTune. Now that we have released XTU with this new feature as well as the integration with HWBot my hope is to get some feedback from our users so that we can continue to improve this software to be as powerful and beneficial as possible. I would particularly appreciate if I could get as much feedback as possible regarding XTU's AppTune beta feature but this thread is a good channel to give us some feedback regarding all aspects of XTU. The Software Most of you are familiar with Intel's XTU software but for those who are new to it, you can get it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?keyword=%22%22extreme+tuning+utility%22%22 The new AppTune feature we have included in XTU allows users to set up overclocking (or underclocking profiles) that are applied automatically based on what application is running. You set up Profiles in XTU just as you have done in the past but with AppTune turned on you can pair any of those profiles to an application on your computer so that the profile with be applied when that application is open. I won’t go into a whole lot of detail right now because I would like to get some feedback on how intuitive the interface is or what creative ways the community comes up with to utilize the software. Please note that if you have a version prior to 4.2 you will not be able to access the AppTune beta feature (or possibly even HWBot benchmarking integration depending on how old your version is) so please, UPDATE TO THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF XTU! AppTune is not enabled by default. In order to enable it, go to the setting menu from the icon in the top, right corner, go to the beta features tab and enable AppTune! With all that said, please play around with XTU, AppTune and the HWBot integration and gives us some feedback. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, complaints or ideas, leave them here! I will try to respond to things as quickly and frequently as possible. Thanks in advance to all those you leave feedback and help shape the future of this software! Disclaimer The view and opinions expressed on these forums are my own and may not reflect the views of Intel as a whole. While I will do my best to answer questions as accurately and completely as possible I will avoid discussion outside of XTU/overclocking or any information sensitive to Intel.
