Pretty sure all the drivers and ROG Connect are installed
ya after that happened I have been installing turbo vcore first right after chipset and mei and it never happened again.

Anyone seen this error and have a fix?
Trying to install Turbo Vcore on Apex/W10 64Bit
That used to happen to me a couple times, I thought I read somewhere my ssd was bad, so I changed ssd and it didnt happen, but then I used the other ssd again and it stopped happening.
Did you install rog connect first? from now on I always install turbo vcore first and it has never happened again.

How can i buy this Power Card? Or it can't buy it?
it's not available for purchase at the moment, hoping one day. It's an amazing device with a lot of cool features. I saw they made a huge one also, would be cool to see that in person.

Have not found anyone to drive with and too far to do solo. Lets get dates figured out so I can book a flight, the price has already gone up $30 in last 2 weeks. Since I'll mot likely be flying el cheapo Frontier airlines probably wont get to bring much. I'd guess whatever I can fit in carry-on, maybe 2 mobo's, one pot, few cpu's, 2d gpu, maybe 980ti kpe or legacy w/ mods, several kits of psc, sammy, bbse, hypers etc. possibly psu in checked luggage. Most likely splitting room with Strong Island whatever days he'll be there and trying to figure out the rest since only affordable flights leave on Thursdays and return home either Sunday noonish or Tuesday same time. Just need Allen to confirm yes and all of Caseking US will be there

I have a durango, so I can bring you a dewar to use and you can share some of my stuff.
I was worried about affording it but if I can drive and share a room, cost wont be much. I was so disappointed missing last year, I have to go. I still have never met anyone in person.
I see how much closer people get after they meet in person so I am excited to go to my first event. I feel left out sometimes.

I only just got my Windows 7 OS up and running after driver issues and after over 200 updates LOL.... I was soooo looking forward to submitting scores and mainly submit my OCed scores to the competition.
I really hope I can enter the competition.

I was just checking the Leagues info and I think I'm not allowed to submit due to being registered on the site for longer then 3 months.
yes I believe that's right, but I have seen some novice nimble comps and you can submit to any competitions that fit your hardware. You can also submit the scores to hwbot without going thru the comp. I know it's not as fun but you still get in the database and you get to sub your scores.

I'm a dingdong After days of nothing but fails, decided to check the actual ssd. Turns out it was still set as part of a raid array
Re-initialized the drive and got Barbonet's image working first shot (thanks B!). Keyboard and mouse work on any usb ports (very helpful as I can't seem to locate my usb2 card nor ps2 y-cable), no go on a usb thumbdrive . Works for me, os life is good.

just so you know, you dont need the ps2 y cable for this board. Ps2 keyboard and mouse work perfectly in any os on there own ports, really nice feature.

I see elite, extreme, and apprentice being ranked with ambient folks. Also see nobody has posted scores beyond 5000mhz or so. ??? Aren't there 2 classes?
Also as 3rd rule for extreme submission FOR AMBIENT <5003mhz, right after it says unlimited clock and cooling. ???
I've read and reread and it still seems ther is some conflict in what is truly going on with this comp. I do not want to spend the time to bench and sub scores to be told i didnt follow rules correctly.
Can someone clear this up for me. Thanks, much appreciated.
well I know websmile just said that ambient and extreme will be lumped together in the ranking but will be divided for prizes, so since you are in extreme you can submit with any cooling you want at any speed you want.

I tried flashing when it was in original state. Now when I gave up i put epower on it. OF course im not that fool!

Yes of course installed driver and tried both of the card's bioses. It is on epower already.
are you trying to flash it from the epower evbot port, because that is not possible even once connected to the 285. I didnt realize this is what you were doing. Epower wont work with evbot flash tool no matter what card it's connected to, even 680 and beyond. I thought you were trying to flash evbot from the 285 evbot port.
you should have flashed the evbot to the epower firmware with the 285 before making the zombie

I tried every version of evbotflashtool and no it wont work, it won't let me open the software saying this device is not supported. Got confirmation from vince as he asked tin and said only cards from 680 and newer work.
I dont know man, I have flashed with my 580 about 20 times, maybe they meant 580 and then it makes sense. Its the main reason I bought my 580, to always have an evbot flash tool.
Did you install driver first?
I have a 285 classy here but my evbot screen is blank and is broken so I cant test.
There is a thread here where natchfalke posted the volt mods for me, they are pretty easy.

Could anyone help on how to flash evbot firmware using GTX 285 classified card? According to evga guides it should work with it but for me it just says this device is not supported.
There was some sort of trick I used to have to do sometimes, like putting evbot into flash mode before opening the flash tool. Or the other way around
Also make sure you install 285 nvidia driver first otherwise wont work.

Before I pull the trigger on GT 730's, all models are allowed? I'm looking at the 2gb gddr5 versions.
Id assume as well volt mods are allowed for the ambient entries? Seems like a great time to learn, especially considering the cost of the cards.
I hope so, that is what I just bought, 2gb gddr5, I want to try 1gb version also to see if mem clocks much better.
