  1. Turn off hyper threading in bios... With the exception of a few Photoshop filters nothing will take advantage of more than a few threads, let alone the 18 threads supported without hyper threading... some compression algorithms will, of course (in synthetic benchmarks at best)... You'll find the overall increase in performance more than an argument to do so.
  2. Turn off hyper threading in bios... this CPU will support 18 threads without hyper threading... more than any program other than Adobe Photoshop will use. Photoshop will only use maximum threads for a very few filters, such as jitter. You're overall synthetic bench marks will increase tremendously. You'll not be disappointed.
