  1. A pitty those Merom's aren't for s775. The E4200 produces 65W, my turion only 25W.
  2. For those who are seeking a cheap way to get into the dual processing world, which processor would you recommend? The E6300 is the fastest, no doubt about it, but for those who currently have a A64 systems it means buying an expensive motherboard + new ram, while the X2 3800+ is just a cheap processor upgrade (150 euro's)... Core2 e6300: 195 euro Core2 mobo (i965 = buggy?): 80 euro 1GB DDR2: 120 euro = 400 vs 3800+ upgrade = 150 euro hmmm...
  3. hmmm, my mac runs on a t2500... with some overclocking i should be able to beat your opteron! Only need 2ghz according to this graph:
  4. Let me see whether i can revoke his avatar creator priviliges.
  5. I'm not gonna, my team members size has grown 50% since you joined.
  6. It only redraws once a day. You'll have to stay on my team a whole day! moehaha! *evil pinkie*
  7. Okay, so maybe we're not the most popular team, at least i submitted the most results. hwbot benching team
  8. That newly arrived X6800 could help you a bit.
  9. They tried creating multiple teams (with my permission) because the bot would update only once and then stop... turns out they had a bot-blocker installed on their apache which rejected most of my hwbot 'attacks'.

  11. 17dBa at 800rpm is quite good. Normally you shouldn't hear the fan, only the sound of air moving.
  12. hmmm, got to get me some polish team members than.
  13. Welcome guys! I can't figure out why there are so many polish teams, lol. http://www.hwbot.org/teamInfo.do?teamId=1378
  14. I love the CTRL+ALT+DELETE cartoons about oblivion.
  15. We're all hardware geeks who can't stop ourselves from buying the latest and greatest, but only a few of your acquisitions really do pay of. What hardware / electronics you bought was not only every penny worth, but did you use for a long time too? 1) 9500 non pro biosmodded (4 to 8 pipelines), extra cooling, and voltage modding made this puppy to run at 9800Pro speeds. The voltage modding eventually got the best of him, but it didn't stop it from running at these speeds for 2 years. 2) XP1700+ thoroughbred Has been running from the day I got it (approx 3 years ago) at 10*200mhz without onle single lockup, and it's still running now. The best example that overclocking can be money saving and doesn't need to be timeconsuming. 3) coolermaster alloy keyboard If you like typing on laptops you'll love this keyboard. With the flat key design, typing is both relaxing as absolutly noiseless. I have had this keyboard for 3 years and used it daily, while it still looks brand new. Hall of Shame: 1) Epox 8rda+: 4 of them died due to overheating, bad bioses, ...
  16. FYI, future plans are to divide the superpi ranking into 2: windows and unix. It's a pitty the linux version has been hand optimized, so it runs faster. You can't compare a linux result with a windows result, sadly. : (
  17. You can download it here: http://www.hwbot.org/download/superpi.zip to run, unzip and run ./super_pi
  18. Ooooh.. i loved the name 'muropaketti'. Sounds funny.
