2 questions for the moderators Has there been any further discussion about matching the cap for PCmark05 with the orb ? As i understand it, 300mb/sec windows startup limit on orb and 220mb/sec on hwbot. Also, for the HWBOT submission limit, I've just mamaged to get a 220.582 xp startup on an overall score of 28482. I've only orb submitted and didn't submit to the bot as i don't want post an illegal score. so the question i have is , is the exact limit 220.00[/b]mb/sec or 221.00mb/sec ? if I did post this score on the bot, would it be pulled ? any info appreciated dafridgie

I'd like to suggest a change in format for the competition, why not have a qualifying round ? Something along the lines of this: Qualification round - open to all from all countries - widest audience have qualification round for 1 month or longer allow for a building of viral marketing opportunities building up to the actual competition itself Results submitted to HWBOT for the Specifc competition only and validated top 5/10/20 scores from each country to allow formation of country team or top 20/50/100 scores overall qualify for actual competition Competition round - run with the best from qualifying Why would this work ? I'm sure Hardware manufacturers would like the widest audience involved for both brand visibility and sales opportunities Everyone gets a chance to participate and attract more folks to be involved wider media coverage - small no - good interest, large No - higher and wider interest potentially into mainstream media - Hwbot team, would this be possible ? - maybe allow searching for a date submitted + specific comment included so these results can be filtered to show competition results only for a specific search?
