  1. What kind of anti-fungal stuff? Is distilled water good enough??? I figure this would be the place to get an answer.
  2. Total n00b question but I figured I ask the Pr0s, I have an Aquagate that I'm using to cool my CPU, E7200 OC'd to 3.7 ghz the pump has started to make a cavitation noise that I'm accounting for because of fluid loss from evaporation. Can I replace the fluid with regular automotive antifreeze? I do not want to pay a premium for a replacement if is is just colored deionized water or repackaged antifreeze. Thanks for any help!! !
  3. Vista is garbage, what are you benchmarking the ability of your hardware to deal with a horrible OS that was designed to push the purchase of more hardware? I vote "NO" Thanks!
  4. Ahhh it can't handle even the slightes overclock! I'm no t impressed. My 7900 was better in overclocking.
  5. Ok I realize I am now engaging in some sort of weird internets forum masturbation. I know I'm talking to my self but... I found the factory settings for the EVGA SSC and set my card up with those settings, GPU clock set to 740 MHz, the shader core (streaming processors) overclocked to 1.835 GHz, and the memory clocked at 1.95 GHz DDR (or 975 MHz actual). I'm hoping this is stable for me. I'm going to try a few benchmarks and games.
  6. I got a 9600GT superclocked, it is preset to 675 clock speed. I can get it to run through the benchmarks in the 700 clock speeds but it wont play a game for 10 minutes before it will crash even with a minor change in clock. Any one one else have nay luck with there 9600 superclocked?
  7. Ok I set mine to 1150 also, what about your core clock speed??? I'm at 700 and shader clock at 1736. *** Just played Team Fortress 2 and it crashed after about 10 minutes. Bringing the memory back down to 1000. I really think the overclock is worthless unless you can actually "use" it I think it is much easier to benchmark an overclock than to play it. There should be an overclocked 1st person shooter tournament! Thats a bench mark! LOL!
  8. Ok I just set my 9600GT EVGA's memory clock to 1000 via Riva Tuner 2.08, I seriously doubt it will do any harm. I'm thinking it would have to be a lot higher than that to see any negative effects. Where did you get your information from?
  9. Whoa, I thought of you guys when I saw this one!!! I wonder how reliable an overclock like this is? I wonder if it would run for more than 24 hours? Any way 2.133Ghz that's Blazing! I watch the Dram Exchange Index and memory is on the way up, may not mean much for some of you guys as you seem to be extremely wealthy! LOL! * I wonder who will have the best Cebit 2008 Overclock coverage?
