  1. Thank you very much! It has been created!
  2. A new website will be launched in a few days. Who do I contact to get a team on the list?
  3. I could care less about points... I could stay @ zero for ever. I don't care... This is a forum, and its freedom of speech. Benchmarks is a load of crap and can not be compared to gaming..No matter how much you think it does. Its just a number. Who really gives a hoot? I'm a true gamer, and I play lots of heavy duty games and play most of them @ 1920 x 1200 with 0xAA and 16x AF full time with vsync on. (No need for AA at high resolutions), but you knew that... I don't need a stupid benchmarking program to tell me my system is too slow.. When I know its not.. I don't have unlimited income, as I can speak for 99% of us. Times are very tough right now... Gas is at almost $4.10 a gallon. Spending money on a program to see a number is just pointless and meaningless.. I have free programs that can benchmark my system. Its merely just bragging rights, and you stating your have a bigger e-penis than the other guy..... Big freakin deal.......
  4. No worries really... 3Dmark 2006 will last a long long time.... Need some really great hardware to get in the 17K range...
  5. It should not cost anything... Its a benchmarking tool... Besides they get plenty of money from their advertisers. I'm guessing they hired some new programmers and now have to find a way to pay them... And from the sound of it, it will only work on Vista, so I'm out of the loop anyway... So that said, Future mark has really shot themselves in the foot... Should have another pole on who has Vista... Real gamers (No offense) still use XP...
  6. I say don't. I can't justify spending any money on any benchmark program. You'll run it a few times and it will be over.. I'm in the extreme user base too. I can play games @ 1920 x 1200 with my 24" screen, but I run XP. Any true gamer who loves an extra 30% of frame rates would stick with XP. Granted Vista will soon be replaced in 2009 with a better more streamlined OS. Vista is just loaded with unnecessary eye candy.. And since Vista, almost everyone had to upgrade their hardware one way or another just to run it...
