I noticed a lot of weird stuff whilst looking at his submissions, nice to know you got to the bottom of it. Thanks Splave.

Nice effi!!! Board? Impact?
seems like bugged run, not amazing efficiency
look at xtreme_addicts score of 1802, 5/5 4133 ram, no way 4990 mhz with slower cache & way slower RAM gets 1800 without a bug.
-
It's called turbo because that's the name for that style of cooler, they had it back on the 970 I think, made it for "SLI" or some crap.
-
Rule, I don't want to break any rules. If the score is bugged I accept it to be removed, but with solid proves.
I had a lot of 1775-1780, some 1785s and 1787s and at some point 1797 came up. All on H2O, no cold. Just by playing with memory timings.
It's no way to cheat at frequency with XTU, so if the app have bugs or issues, it should not be used in competitions. Or the rules should specify exactly what is the acceptable error range, because every benchmark has at least 1% admissible error.
You don't find it weird that you had lots of 1775-1785, than randomly one run at 1797?
Lol.

I cut my card and its still shorted. I am running this card from a bench top power supply, its more than adequate to handle this power load. The 3v3 line is drawing about 65mA, which seems correct. I think everything is working but the core is shorted so its not powering it up.
I applied the voltages are follows:
pin 48 = 5V (+5VCC)
pin 51 = 3.3v (EN -enable chip)
pin 52 = 3.3v (VTT - enable input of the controller)
pin 62 = 3.3v (PSI)
I cut the card just like yours and files the edges really smooth so there is no short in the power planes.
Is that the 580 I sold you? :D

Sold Gemini

For a gpu that can do 2100mhz on air, 2500mhz is total junk and can't beat a 980
I think you mean 980 TI perhaps?
Because the 1080 slaps the 980 around.. lol

If I charge you for shipping it won't be a good deal anymore.
I'd prefer to keep it in US for that reason, because otherwise shipping will be like $50.

1: I5 6500 - $140 shipped to US48 with flat rate 2 day box USPS
I bought it off reddit and used it for an XTU submission, looking to sell it now as I have no use for it.
2. 980 TI Matrix Platinum SOLD
This card has great memory and overclocks very well on DICE, I haven't seen any other cards go this high on DICE. I didn't test any higher, this was my first ever time dry icing it, and the only time I ever dry iced it. Card still works perfectly, I use it as a 24/7 gaming card. Looking to upgrade to a 1080 maybe, and hang up my benching hat perhaps.
