Congrats to team Australia.
Wish I could have helped the US out more this year but just did not have the right hardware except for my 7970's which unfortunately got burned out trying to push for a good score on stage 4.

I still have yet to book but most definitely interested in sharing a room with you or anyone else that may still have room. Of course willing to pay my fair share of everything.
I will be coming in with Jason but we have not determined yet if we're heading out Thursday night or Friday morning as it is 8.5hrs at best from my place to the hotel. We will be talking tonight to confirm what our plans are with regards to arrival.
Also, I will bring anything "utility" I have for anyone that wants to use it. Does anyone need REV (non-black)? I don't have a chip as mine just died but not sure to pack it or not.
Hey Filmbot, ill pm you my contact info. I am coming in Thursday afternoon and staying until sunday. If you want to hook up with me when you get there I can add an extra person to my room at that time in case you end up not making it until Friday.

Just found out that my wife has decided not to come so if anyone needs to crash in a room they are welcome to use my room as long as they don't mind sharing with me and my brother.

Request to loaner pool... I would need PSU, 1151 Board for Kaby, Screen and a Keyboard. Who can loan me which part?
I think I can rustle up an extra monitor. Nothing fancy but should get the job done. Can probably find a mouse/keyboard as well.

I'll be bringing a few extension cords. My wife has not decided if she is coming out not yet. If she doesn't, I will be more than happy to let people crash in my room. Peobably will not have a definitive answer until closer to though.

If anyone coming to the party has a gpu pot they are looking to part with let me know. If we can work a deal out ahead of time I figure we can save on Shipping costs by making the exchange at the party.

Just booked my room for me and my brother. If anyone else is planning on driving in they are currently offering a package deal online that includes parking and a $50 food credit daily. I was able to call and get that package price($234/night) and still stay in the party block of rooms. I figure it is a good deal as the rooms are $169 + daily parking $49 + $50 food = $268 so I am saving about $34 per day.

Just got my vacation approval from work so it looks like I'm in. My brother will be stopping in for the event as well I think to watch/learn.
I will confirm once I have a room booked.

I should be in for Harrisburg just have to confirm with work.
I wonder if microcenter would let us set up right in the store. Last time I was there they had a lot of dead space on the one side of the store. It would definitely draw a crowd for them.

I can scrounge up a few monitors too bring along, nothing fancy but they work. If we have a good count of what is necessary I will appreciate it so I am not overpacking.

Jpmboy, I am just learning to bench cold myself so I'm going to be spending a lot of my time learning. Your welcome to mess with some of my equipment if you want to get your hands dirty and learn with me.
Hey guys, are non-LN2 guys welcome? The Summer Party is about an hour or so from home base for me... I'm not an LN2 bencher, but would like to attend on Sat or Sunday just to watch and meet the crew.Solo

I have a spool of cat5e that has about 250 ft left on it. I'll bring that and some ends and I can make up some cables if necessary.
If you talk with the hotel again Funsoul see if they have some runner rugs that we can use to cover any cables we have running through the walkways, if not see if they are ok with us tapeing them down. Don't want anyone tripping.

Just my 2 cents but limiting this to just skylake cpus does not seem like a good idea. Just to be clear I do not have a skylake cpu so I am a little bias but even so this will prevent a lot of others from competing as well.

For stage 1 do we need processors from 3 different families or just 3 distinct processors like am i7, i5, and an i3 combo.

Never mind I figured it out. I was unaware that the hardware was restricted by family. This should be better explained on the rule page. Also how is the i7 5820k and i7 5960x not considered the same family?

The same. must say Im impressed that you didnt get crazy over hitting that stupid random geekbench target on more than one cpu!
It was definitely a pain and it bit me in the butt during the last round when I tried to divide my time between both divisions.
It looks like the standings for the 4 core comp. is corrected though, so hats of to you for the win. Still waiting on the results of the 2 core comp. to shake out but I remain hopeful that I was able to clinch that division.

We will announce the winners this week. Sorry for the delay, but moderators and staff are celebrating the end of the year holidays so things are moving a bit slower.
Just went back to work myself so I understand. Definitely looking forward to how things shake out.
