  1. Anyone willing to sell his Verizon DROID DNA?

Whistle me please, I'll be in the states next months 2-16may, San francisco and Las vegas...I'll give a good price :D

  2. You have burnt mosfet and now it makes a short. You can remove it and maybe GPU will start to work. If PCB didn't melt (traces inside PCB) and nothing more died, there is a chance you can replace it, but if you don't even know what the part is called, I think you don't have soldering skills or tools to do it :)

My previous job 7 years ago was soldering smd , leds, resistors..with a decent weller station soldering should not be any problem. Getting the right component probably will be the thoughest job. And mosfet lol yes word didn't cross my mind.

Thnx for the input, will use this info and see what I can do. Report later..

  3. I think you are better off retiring it, then spending money on the parts to fix it and maybe not fixing it still

I was thinking the same to be honest, however I saw people doing the craziest shit before with the power circuit so I thought why not try it :D (simply cause it died before I could even say hello to it lol )

  4. After popping in this GFX card, this little black resistor/transistor, whatever this should be, caught a little flame ending up in no screen and a sound..

I cleaned the space around it, popped it back in-->fans are spinning, my mainboard doesn't give any error, yet no screen.

Now I have death 470gtx on it's way, would it be worthwhile or should I try to replace this cap? Or are chances slim to zero of getting this card back up and running?

    Thanx!

  5. This mounting kit in the picture will fit on all 1155 motherboards no matter what brand they are. No worries.

There will be mounting kit for each socket type separately, but they are not adding costs really.

This mounting mechanism is solid piece of POM and it will create airtight pocket for CPU and it will also clamp CPU to socket.

Pot pressure and contact will be 100% even every time and pot mount and remount will be very fast (seconds).

No more bleeding fingers with those thumbscrews :D

Quality of copper is so good compared to previous pots and the production quality is best EU level.

There will be some more stuff included, but those I will show when product is ready to be sold.

Price= very good, if I did not mention it already :D

What about the copperscrewing part? How does it act so far underneath those xtreme circumstances? I assume you have to clean it very neat to make sure the material won't become porous?

  6. Testing is done and minor fixes applied. We are ready for mass production now :D

Insulation is now so easy and that annoying and ugly paper is no more needed ;)

I am very happy with the product and the mass production version will have a different look than these samples.

    The inner part is flexible?

Installed they work at 665Mh instead of the 800Mhz I wanted.. 9-8-8-20

Going to see if I can alter that. So far no gain at all :nana:

  8. My current daily device is a Hp DV7 6b70eb.

It has an Intel 2670Qm 8gb ddr3 and a HD6770m on board. I also installed an Intel 60gb SSD few weeks along with Windows 8.

The problem is that I can't decide where to spend money on.

It seems that I have sever possibilties to upgrade this laptop a bit.

    But is worth to spend nearly 750$ on a ;

    full HD display,

    2860qm cpu

    and ofcourse 16gb ddr3 corsairs

I play games often, but there are are also periods of months that gaming doesn't cross my mind. Otherwise when I do game, I want to be able to do it properly..Buy a desktop you say? Ok but it makes me feel not so social with my girlfriend around me, when at home..

I never doubt, this time I do lol

Any input is welcome, although I know I have to make the choice on my own ://
