  2. Hello folks, thanks to having access for a month to some Lathes and Mills (Colchester Triumph VS 2500 and Ajax AJT4) at no cost (so basically the only cost is metal and VAT for it and shipping) I can make some LN2 pots from C101 copper (HDHC, an alloy with very good thermal conductance). The pots would be an adaption of a design by Pkkshadow. Diameter would be 63.5mm, with a height of 60mm, made from solid copper with some slots cut in for surface area. The contact area would be around 45mmx45mm, and the pot would have a 100mm-120mm aluminium extension on top. The hold down for the top would pretty basic and have holes for Intel LGA 775, LGA 115x, LGA 1366/LGA2011/LGA 2066 and AMD AM2/AM3/FM1/AM1/FM2/AM4 support. Any more sockets and I'd be spending a very long time setting up the slotting. I'm not 100% sure of the cost as of right now, since shipping to different areas varies and I don't have a solid estimate for weight, but it would be be between €75-€90. If anyone has any questions or interest please let me know on this post so I can see how much copper and aluminium I'd need.
  3. Dear OCers and admins. @Leeghoofd I did participate in challengers knowing that HWINFO64 will show precise frequency and part of my scores were having .4Mhz or even .8Mhz where for example 5203 was expected. As you may know hwmonitor is showing only full MHz. Thus even when you have 5203,9 in hwinfo64 you will have hwmonitor at 5203. Most of participants used hwmonitor. Due to automatic steering by the motherboard which exceeded xxx3MHz. I thought that if I'm not exceeding xxx4 than I'm alright. Also I get notifications from HWBOT at email but when I want to get at the topic the page is 404. I don't see it in HWBOT account either and so I can't reply to it than. Peter
  4. Hi OCers! I need a bit of tips, not for benchmarks but in fact for maximum stability in a long period of time running under stress. What I have : i9-7960x, Sage WS 10G, 128GB RAM G.Skill Trident Z CL16, and 4 RTX 2080 TI. This config is stable, but system was hanging at 1.9 CPU input voltage - I've changed to 1.95. Haven't really move VCCIO 1.1 & VCCSA beyond 1.15 - low because this MB has PLX chips. I'm curious should I increase VCCIO and VCCSA or if it's stable should I leave it alone. I know that RAM is getting into the picture and 128 is a lot for this platform - without controllers and ECC. If You had any suggestions please share. Thanks Peter
  5. Hi all, I bought my new laptop but has serious problem W/it. the laptop contains: i7 8750H, RTX2060, 8GB RAM. When I play games with the laptop, the CPU temperature goes on 90-100C and makes blue screen on it. I already did undervolting but It is same or little better(Still blue screen) I bought it to play games, but awkwardly I can not play any games...... Plz help this CPU newbie
  6. Selling my _never used_ Rockit 88. Asked price: 30$ + shipping Rockit 88 - Intel CPU Delid Tool for LGA 1150 and 1151 CPUs Complete kit with delid tool and relid tools Safe delidding for the enthusiast. Newly redesigned to be safer, more precise and faster to use. Precision CNC machined Designed to safely delid Intel LGA 1150 and 1151 100% compatible with Kabylake, Skylake and Coffeelake Liquid metal application TEMPLATE NOTE: The relid guide included with this kit will NOT work for the copper IHS, it is larger than the stock IHS. Be sure and get the copper WITH relid guide. UPDATE: We are proud to stand behind our products and will quickly replace any defective part or if you break something while using our tool. HOWEVER.. with the release of the i9 9900K We can't stand behind breaking our tool while attempting to delid this CPU. The IHS is soldered and requires more force to delid. We will be introducing an upgraded delid tool for the i9 9900K and of course, we will stand behind it 100%. Should be ready very soon. Thank you - James
  7. Looking for a cpu pot and a dewar or two to get into extreme league. CPU pot can be shipped. Dewar would be preferable if I could pick it up, especially at the bench meet in Philly.

And when i try to upload it manual i get "Corrupted or missing CVF (Code:3)". And in the window where I chose the file is now: "No File Selected". But i selected a File....-.- I have this by my Benchsystem and my Mainsystem. Have some one else this problem or know what i make wrong? I can read read it well , but not write .
  9. Hoping you guys can help here... I can pass 3D06 at 5.9GHz on my CPU when running just the CPU test. When running it after a GPU test, I was crashing if I tried anything over 5.6GHz. Temps were similar for both runs. Any tips? Running a 4770K.
  10. Hey. Tried to post my benchmark and choosing CPU I couldn't set 840QM. Are you serious??? Auto filling gave me 820QM option which I chose at the end but why for all I can't set what I really have??
  11. That's impressive : http://hwbot.org/community/submission/607574_masterchorch_pcmark_2004_pentium_3_500mhz_katmai_5212_marks?tab=info The score is 5212 Marks, the validation link show us 1243 Marks, it has been reported, and checked by jmke as OK And he is also using 2 CPU, and not only one !!! I am sorry to said that but jmke are you blind ?
  12. What do we do when CPUZ mis-identifies a given processor? JMKE mentioned recently that it sometimes does that. We were discussing a bench posted by another user and it turned out CPUZ had incorrectly Identified that user's Palomino MP as a Thoroughbred XP. JMKE implied CPUZ can mis-identify other processors as well. As of today, I'm a believer. I was benching an AMD Athlon MP 2200+ AMSN2200DKT3C. It was properly identified by CPUZ as an MP processor up to around 150FSB. At 160FSB and higher, CPUZ wrongly identifies the processor as a Sempron. That's with CPUZ verison 1.50, BTW. What I'm planning to do is explain that in the "Description" box where we submit new scores, and also add some text in the screenie explaining what's going on. Perhaps this approach could be adopted by the mods as an informal guideline as to what users can do when CPUZ fails to properly identify one of their processors. Will that be sufficient to allow the scores to be posted? Are you guys okay with that? [i don't have a camera good enough to take a readable photo of the black OPN label, and wouldn't know how to use Photoshop to include an image of the OPN label in a screenie even if I did.] By examing the screenshots it should be obvious that CPUZ has misidentified the processor because I'm running it at 13x and 13.5x for the benches. True Socket A Semprons are locked and don't run at those multies as far as I know. See this page at CPU-World.com for the known Socket A Sempron multies: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/TYPE-Sempron.html Here's the link to the 2200+ MP category where I'm hoping to post the benchmark results. http://www.hwbot.org/hardware/processor/Athlon%20MP%202200_ Here are pics showing what happens with CPUZ and this processor as it runs above and below 160FSB. ..
