Community leaders for competitive overclocking

Featured Replies

Hey all,

The implementation of Rev6 is speeding up as we finished the design and are now implementing the actual code. It's quite a lot of work, so the release won't be for tomorrow, but it would be good to start organizing this in further detail.

To be more specific: I am looking for a team of Competition Community Leaders who can manage hardware and benchmark restrictions for the various divisions in Rev6.

For those who are not yet up to speed, the structure is as follows:

  • 1 season
  • 7 divisions
  • 3 rounds
  • 5 stages

That makes a total of 105 configurations to configure for the entire year. The total of course depends on the amount of divisions we are going to run.

Since rev6 is designed to make competitive overclocking more accessible it makes sense that the community can decide on specific restrictions and benchmarks. Practically, the Competition Community Leaders would have to agree on a set of hardware/benchmark limitations that fit within the idea of the divisions. For this purpose we will open a sub-forum which can be accessed by the hwbot staff/representatives and the competition community leaders.

Requirements:

  • Good level of written English
  • Familiar with competitive overclocking
  • Good understanding of Rev6 and it's purpose
  • Ability to discuss with argumentation
  • Ability to find compromise between different user groups
  • Passionate about overclocking and strong drive to grow the community
  • Prefered: available for Skype calls once in a while

Feel free to post in this topic if you're interested in helping out. Once the Rev6 structure is in place, we can start off the discussion talks

I was so born to do this massman !!!

I am by far the most qualified person on this SITE, everyone else here sucks .... but that is obvious....

SO I think its settled then... I await my instructions.

i have passion! can i join this group and compete in the competition? or will that compromise my benchmark suggestions

Suppose not; there are plenty of divisions that you won't compete in.
