He used ubuntu touch 140%, it works on many of the Samsung's and it scores most of the times 100-150% more than Android.

I see, changing from Dalvik to ART in developer options got me above the 1k mark. You should try it if you haven't already :)

Strange, ART usually scores lower in this app, I guess it depends on the ROM/Phone.

Cm11 with dorimanx kernel. I never got more than 950-960 with dalvik. And it's repeatable, not a lucky run. Got a new best score on the S3 using ART also.

I see, I had SlimSaber + DorimanX and ART scored ~10% lower, next time I will try with CM11, thanks!

I also have don't keep actvities ticked and background processe limit set to no background processes. Don't know if it helps but it can't hurt I guess :)
