I.nfraR.ed
Why XTU? This leaves AMD users and Intel guys with older platforms out of the lucky draw. It makes more sense giving a chance to people that still don't have current-gen Intel platforms to win a new generation intel mobo. OLDcomer
My i7 970 + X58A-OC and my s775 cpu collection + ep45t-ud3r can't run XTU but I'm intrigued and will definitely try the other stages. dinos22
To guys saying they can't compete with AMD, that is not the case. You may not be able to compete on one stage but you still have a whole bunch of others to compete on and each stage has a cash prize and participation prizes are random as long as you participate   PRIZES:  Stage 1 ~ 5: 1st place of each stage will receive $400 USD  Lucky draw: Five randomly selected participants will receive one of these motherboards: 1x Z97N Gaming 5, 1x Z97N-WIFI, 1x Z97X-SOC FORCE LN2, 2x X99-SOC FORCE
I.nfraR.ed
To enter the lucky draw, participant must submit a score in all 5 stages. Â which means Sandy and newer Intels. Â Of course we can compete in other stages and I will participate anyway.

zeropluszero
So in the case of catzilla and xtu, which seem totally possible to match, how does this work if multiple people hit it? First sub wins??

xoqolatl
Can we get a proper clock/calendar for submissions? I'd like to see a clarification looking like: - you can submit XTU results between 14:00 UTC on March 31st, 2014 and 16:00 UTC on March 31st, 2014 - you can submit 3DMark results between... Right now it says that the cup opens in 15 hours, but I can submit first scores on 19th October?
MaJ0r
Yes, it would be better if some Gigabyte guys clarify some moments: -is submitting before opening hours allowed? -if yes, will our score calculate automatically? -if no, rules for covertation time, I mean if my post was posted) at xx:xx, what is the time at the same moment in UTC+08:00? -is slowering system allowed ( For example using prime95 or any other cpu/memory/vga load in background? Massman
The competition was announced on the 7th, but the first stage is only open on October 19. That should give you plenty of time to prepare. You can not submit before the start of the competition time. Â In UTC+8 Â - You can submit XTU results between 2PM and 4PM on October 19 2014 - You can submit HWBOT Prime results between 2PM and 4PM October 26 2014 - You can submit 3DMark05 results between 2PM and 4PM November 2 2014 - You can submit SuperPI 32M results between 2PM and 4PM November 9 2014 - You can submit Catzilla 720P results between 2PM and 4PM November 16 2014 Â In UTC Â - You can submit XTU results between 6AM and 8AM on October 19 2014 - You can submit HWBOT Prime results between 6AM and 8AM October 26 2014 - You can submit 3DMark05 results between 6AM and 8AM November 2 2014 - You can submit SuperPI 32M results between 6AM and 8AM November 9 2014 - You can submit Catzilla 720P results between 6AM and 8AM November 16 2014 Â You are allowed to slow down your system. But of course no speedhacking or stuff like that.
