November 2, 201015 yr Thats really weird. You guys noticed the 2 distinct groups of efficiency in the 9800GTX ranking for Vantage? One that's the same as the GTX+, GTS250 and even the GTS 512 (with good RAM,) then a lower tier of efficiency?
November 2, 201015 yr Havent really looked.....will look in to it......I just picked up these 2 EVGA 9800GTX's on the bay...although just looking at the box's there KO versions ....but the PCB is ref from what I can see and it does help that both Q and myself are using Chilled Water

November 6, 201015 yr Author My 9800's are reference evga cards. They are one of the first one's produced in April 2008. I have noticed some folks can get real high gpu scores with a low cpu clock. Don't know why that is, but I figure overpower them with cold, lol!
