Anyone run four R9-295X2? - RVE

Featured Replies

Hi all

Anyone try to run 4 x R9 295x2's

I have a RVE 5960X 16 GB corsair Dom Plat

The board will not post. I get a boot loop with three cards. The last Qcode = 95 resources.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Four? What on earth for? O.o

How many power supplies have you got plugged into that thing?? :P

refit cpu into the socket - I had an issue before with multigpu setups (3*5850, 2*4870x2, 2*6950) and only removing/fitting cpu back helped me.

two - 1200 and a 1000w

because I can :)

Not enough PSU. A single R9 295X2 pulls up to 500W in Crysis. If you plan to OC them they will get into the 650-800W range per card.

I have to get past the post loop first. The board will not post with 3 or more cards on the board.

Try changing the PCI-e speeds.
