Extremely, extremely interested in the CPU.

How much would DHL shipping to England (UK) be?

Hi, DHL wants 14 Euro, but it is with insurance up to 500 Euro. :)

We can do 320 Euro inkl. shipping with DHL.

Sorry for the offtopic, but...

Does adding the second 8-pin CPU power cable help anything?

Hm, never used that Board with only 1x8-PIN EPS.. sorry.

Adding the second EPS doesn't help much unless you're extreme overclocking. Even then it isn't needed, but it can provide cleaner power due to load balancing (I believe).

320E sounds good to me. PM me your PayPal. :)

I think its not worth to buy a new power supply for that reason. ;)

The tracking was a little behind, it popped through the door today. :D

Did you reseal the CPU? I thought it was de-lidded. It looks like you've super glued the IHS back on which is perfectly fine with me, but I thought it was coming in two halves. ;)

I'd always risk an RMA anyway. :D

It does look great to be honest with you. I'm very impressed with the cleanliness of the reinstall. Kudos, Denis!

I'll chuck it in my OCF tomorrow or Friday to confirm it's all okay. I'm sure it's fine though. :)

I will do, sir.

May I ask who did it for you? Feel free to PM if you'd rather not expose him publically. :D

Happy to report that the CPU is working flawlessly. Prime95 runs at 4.6 with around 1.2v. :D

Denis, you're a great person to deal with. Many thanks!!

AVX really pushes the chip hard. It's already hitting the higher range of the 80s and that's only at 1.2 volts. That's under a custom water loop too.

Don't use Prime 28.5. I think it is FMA3 what pushes the Temps. Version 27.9 is good enough. :) i've never used 28.5.

Without AVX is Version 26.6 B3 i guess. Good for core2, but not enough for i-core.

I'll give it a whirl in the morning when I get home from work. :D

It's not mission critical, so I am not fussed about having it Prime stable for 24 hours or anything like that. :D
