Ok i will share aswell i did on klanoc forum: noexecutive option is missing in asus board!!!!

 

Workaround in boot.ini: noexecute=alwaysoff

That's great....u did it, or dinos??? Because seems a dinos' screen....same position of pi calcutation is done, same 640maxmem!!

Ahahahah maybe is the aussie style;)

I just re-read my sentence. It does not make any sense at all ... I shouldn't edit parts of a sentence.

 

What I wanted to say is: just like with any other memory type transition, the first gen of the new stuff is slower than the last gen of the old stuff. But from second and third generation, new stuff will beat old stuff.

If I remember correctly, DDR4 is around for 18 months now on retail non server. And DDR3 was almost instantly faster than DDR2, because it was used on same platform, GTR and such stuff were realeased at same time as X38 chipset. Not sure I can follow your thoughts; Pieter^^

Good job George, seems Samsung B don´t scale big on cold but it can help a bit
