I tested L519B740 and L519B743.

Both VID 1.296.

Both XTU stable @ 4.8GHz 1.46v

Should be able to pass 4.9GHz at around 1.5v but limited by high temps... No delid

Im waiting now for RMA process. I can be 14 days without the chip. Hope new one will be with lower VID :P

Third chip is on the way.

Wow. I guess it's quite an advantage being so close to where Intel ships their RMA chips from. It's usually 3-5 days from when I ship it out to when I receive a new chip!

I used to live in Louisville, KY where their US RMA center is. The thing is... they made me ship it to them even though I worked two miles away

So it still took three days back then.

avoid from L524B520 6700K, horrible chip. VID 1.33v, on air 5G 1.50v not 32M stable, after delid on LN2 -160C 4/8 6.1G valid 1.90-1.95v -.-

Guy, did u try to raise up pll termination voltage and pll bandwith??

We use pll at 1.8 1.9 when we was in taiwan

I dont think so me too.....but next time try !!! Pll bandwith 6 or 8 ....pll termination increase the temperature of the cpu underload.....but when u are in windows u have to set 1.8v for remove the CB! U can upper that value for search some extra mhz....but the cpu going to be hotter;)

cheers bro, will do! on the gigabyte G1 board, you have much easier job :D you have like 3-4 settings at all what you can raise. with loan cpu i reached ~6.5G 1.80v! it was L526 something, going to look for that batch.

Uhuhu very good;))) i say only this for help....i dont want to teach no one;)

Cheers thanks for sharing;)

Hi,

Tested 10 pcs L525B503 Malaysia retail(and one ES for comparison) with three kind of tests:

1) Maximum Boot to Windows 7 64-bit, 4C/8T, 1.35V VCore

2) Maximum Cinebench R15 Frequency, 1.35V VCore (there's Vdroop to around 1.31-1.32 IIRC)

3) Lowest VCore to run 4.6Ghz Cinebench R15 4C/8T

*Aircooled, Noctua NH-U12S+Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-3000, 25C ambient*

This is the result:
