B-Die Binning

I see no advantage from 4k c18 over 4133 c19-19 for example, the better bins are usually a safer bet but no guarantee. I would go for 3600c16 or 4133s, best experience for me personally on average quality, I had awesome 3600c17 as well but also lots of sub par kits. Biggest advantage of 3600c16 is price - performance, 4133 were best for me overall

I finally got these running!

attachment.php?attachmentid=5210&stc=1&d=1485201497

this is the first try below zero with this kit on my mOCF and they are doing well.

The beauty is that I have a matching kit, the 2nd kit has the 2 next serials and seems to operated simular until 4GHz C12 on air. I will test it soon bu I expect it to run fine.

Now I have to tighten the timings and test some more voltages.

After this I still have the HOF's.

The second kit needed a little less voltage to get it to post, so the 3rd try gave a post.

Their first boot gave this:

attachment.php?attachmentid=5211&stc=1&d=1485208034

The CPU is cooled by my Single Stage.

Edit: I did a quick test on 4266MHz. C12 didn't run yet but 4266MHz C13 did...

attachment.php?attachmentid=5213&stc=1&d=1485209556

I really am beginning to like the 2nd kit...

Quick one on ln2 (cpu):

attachment.php?attachmentid=5296&stc=1&d=1486742812

Edit: Better picture

Sadly I had to stop after this because of a crack.

Test stability, I have 4200 12-11-11 32m capable kit and 4260-4300 xtu capable.

hi guys, thanks for that awesome dimm thread. Maybe you can help me on a simply decision.

I need a system for a photographer, mostly LR and Photoshop. As per here that stuff scales fantastic with data rates on ram

DDR4 Memory at 4000 MT/s, Does It Make a Difference? > Benchmarks: Applications - TechSpot

I just ordered a i7 7700K with a MSI Z270M Mortar Preisvergleich | Geizhals Deutschland Mortar board. µATX required

trying to keep the price in a logical range, I don't need 4200 mhz @ cl 12but lets see if we can do the 3800 (oc specs of board) or more.

For now i have 2x8Gb Kingston Fury memory, but as per here I will need to go for some upper class memory.

I'm not willing to spend more than 150€ for 16Gb. What memory would you choose.

I could go for that offers here too:

32GB DDR4 - 3400

F4-3400C16D-16GTZ - CL16-18-18-18-38

or 16Gb

Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi guys. Thanks for that awesome thread.

I'm willing to create a high performance Lightroom + Photoshop system which scales awesome with memory:

DDR4 Memory at 4000 MT/s, Does It Make a Difference? > Benchmarks: Applications - TechSpot

..- trying to get best perf/€ on memory side so I ordered a

MSI Z270M Mortar Preisvergleich | Geizhals Deutschland

Mortar board, µATX (required) which is rated with max 3800 on memory side.

Wonder what modules I may purchase to reach ~3800 mhz with your help

32GB

or 16Gb 3200

hey guys!

tnx for this thread

sry if my Q may Unrelated with this topic

by the way , why on b-die mem after boot to the windows, some benchmark is stable but the other benches not?

for Example i can pass CB R15 , R11.5 an geekbench with a good Effi but i can even run the XTU or 3Dmark spy time ?

what is the problem ?

FRQ i tested 3600 Cl 14-14-14-28 -1t (the others set auto)

mem voltages= 1.4~1.6 (should i pump th more volt ?)

m.b=z170X-soc force

cpu=7700k@ 5GHZ

That can be because of to much or to low voltage for your memory or vccio or vccsa.

And it can be because of the selected memory timings.

i pump more volt but with more voltages OS can not booted and get blue screen

but in more frq and more volt lower timming be possible for Example :

3700 12-12-12-28 with 1.8~1.85 all benchmarks pass

but in 3400 14-14-14-30 with 1.55~1.6 i cant Run and pass XTU or 3Dmark Time Spy

I hope get my point
