Scores has been checked, but SM3 score is higher than SM2 and score is high for the MHz.

No FPS info, so cannot tell if maybe GT1 or GT2 were low, making SM2 lower than SM3

I agree, I have requested a new screen with better viewing, resolution and subtest.

I've reported this results before, but all of them was approved.

All osro232's scores submitted in 6800XT (NV41) category still wrong.

Normal 6800XT has 8 pixel, 4 vertex shaders ans 8 ROPs. Clocks are 400MHz for GPU and 500MHz for Mem. PCI-E 6800 cards cannot be unlocked at all, especially on NV41. But osro232's 6800XT has 12 pixel, 5 vertex shaders and 12 ROPs, clocks are 425MHz for GPU and 500MHz for Mem - all as for 6800GS card. In result we have the 20-25% advantage with the same clocks. That's why this scores cannot be submitted in 6800XT category.

In addition, osro232's 6800XT has the same bios version as his 6800GS, that was benched at the same day, that look very suspicious.

hi all and happy new year.

is the staff can do something for this two submitions:

http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2097725_evosia_3dmark11___performance_2x_radeon_hd_5870_9947_marks

http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2099153_evosia_3dmark11___extreme_2x_radeon_hd_5870_3554_marks

like you can see, it says it's not my best score. but it is for the 2x hd 5870 and for the "EX preset". don't know why it say that. can you do something for a right calculation, if you please.

thanks in advance.

Wait until tomorrow, if not return the points, please, communicate in a separate post, in this subforum. ;)

Hi!

Can you delete this? http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2120880_joonaseh_wprime_32m_4x_core_i5_2500k_8sec_296ms

It's actualy a 1x 2500k score, not 4x 2500k score.

You can edit/delete by yourself here :

I often check new 06 submissions with good scores to learn something from them;)

A good result is almost always good teacher, so if I find a good one I usually check it in detail.

Yesterday, I found a very good 06 result with relatively low cpu/gpu clocks;

http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2120636_cix1978_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_580_43047_marks?tab=info

I got interested how to achieve this and checked it in detail.

FPSs in GT1/2 part are high and I assumed the cpu clock was much higher than 6.15GHz.

CPU Test score is also high and the clock must have been around 6.15GHz.

FPSs in GT3/4 part isn't that high, maybe due to low gpu clock

but the HDR/SM3.0 score seems higher. So I calculated the socore from FPSs with the formula from 06 White Paper;

HDR/SM3.0 Score = 50x(Canyon Flight FPS + Deep Freeze FPS)

50x(220.30+168.319)=19417

and this is lower than the score in screenshot : 19659.

This formula usually works fine for the calculation but this time ???

There is no ORB link in the result so I cannot check anymore.

Is this 06 bug or something?

Could you check this please?

Thanks:)

Sorry Alex, but your solution here doesn't agree with the rules.

3.4. Unlocked CPUs and Modded Video Cards

Again this is a subject where we have to trust on the honesty of the submitter; if you have a CPU with unlocked multiplier, please only submit results under the hardware category of its original model. Don’t emulate other models to gain HWboints, if you are caught you will get penalized or even banned. The same goes for video cards which are modified either with a flashed BIOS or modded software, post your scores in the category of the original hardware.
