Crew Strunkenbold Posted May 10, 2016 Crew Posted May 10, 2016 Massman said devices should be automatically get added once users run hwbot prime app. I think there is something wrong here, as I couldnt imagine that you didnt tried before. So did you? Quote
marc0053 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 (edited) I just ran hwbot prime with my Samsung s7 edge phone and it says 2d validation failed: processor is required for 2D benchmark. http://valid.x86.fr/a/pmwzzv Edited May 11, 2016 by marc0053 Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted May 12, 2016 Crew Posted May 12, 2016 Thx for information. I send the info to Massman. I think that something wrong with server. Quote
marc0053 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Could it be something in Android 6.0.1 not finding the correct cpu info as my Samsung s6 device is recognized on android 5.x.x? Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted May 17, 2016 Crew Posted May 17, 2016 Maybe. Thx for the hint. If I understand Massman correctly, he will care about this problem this week. Lets hope he has done this before Computex. Quote
marc0053 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Just checked today and Exynos 8 is still not recognized. Hopefully it gets in the system before the end of the Div 6 round 2 Quote

Crew Strunkenbold Posted May 27, 2016 Crew Posted May 27, 2016 I added this now by hand. Lets see if this works or if it breaks the system. http://hwbot.org/hardware/device/6282/sm_g935w8_galaxy_s7_edge/ Note: This just the phone from marc, I need a CPU-Z verification from henk too. Quote
marc0053 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) It works!!! http://hwbot.org/submission/3224578 Seems the phone is not legit for div VI round 2 competition because it's not part of the RISC cpu architecture Edited May 27, 2016 by marc0053 Quote
henkenator68NL Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 I added this now by hand. Here is the Link from cpu-z validation: http://valid.x86.fr/a/k783ck Would be great if you could add the device also! Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted May 29, 2016 Crew Posted May 29, 2016 http://hwbot.org/hardware/device/6283/sm_g930f_galaxy_s7/ Next step would be that Massman sets the SOC to RISC and then you should be able to participate. Quote
henkenator68NL Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 http://hwbot.org/hardware/device/6283/sm_g930f_galaxy_s7/ Next step would be that Massman sets the SOC to RISC and then you should be able to participate. well it works now , hope that risk will be set also. For now thanks Strunkenbold Quote
henkenator68NL Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 http://hwbot.org/hardware/device/6283/sm_g930f_galaxy_s7/ Next step would be that Massman sets the SOC to RISC and then you should be able to participate. I checked (for as far my knowledge goes lol) and it should be in the same categorie I think so risc can be added : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_architecture http://www.arm.com/products/processors/armv8-architecture.php Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted June 6, 2016 Crew Posted June 6, 2016 Its simply a problem that I cant set the processor architecture in db. AFAIK only Massman can do. Tasked him, he probably do this after Computex. Quote
marc0053 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Just checked today and still have: Only use processors based on the RISC architecture. Quote
