Never ship a motherboard in a box that's too small

The board was in a box that was too small so it was sitting in it diagonally. Going to test it tonight once I bend that VRM sink back so it actually hits the mosfets. :(

Well, it's still in one piece :D

Could have been worse :P

EDIT: This is just to show off your surface right?

It may actually work... we'll see. And the Surface is the work rig... not mine personally :(

I have an Intel board that is more bent than yours and it's working just fine.

On the other hand I had boards with damaged corners that wouldn't boot (no idea if that's the reason tho since they were DOAs).

Best of luck

Well, after curved displays curved mainboards will be the new hype!

Bent like this -->? It's easier that way to put it into a washing machine, right? :D

Yep... I don't think what it is with these motherboards, but I had another taco'd P5E3 Premium that worked quite well. It wasn't quite as bad as this but it had some curve to it!

Here are the photos of that one:

My DFI X38 was heavily bended and killed by box... Intel BOX cooler.

All P5E3 that I've seen was slightly bended like xxbassplayerxx board.

That's noting. My ic7 was bent at what looked like 120 degrees after putting a heat sink without a back plate on it. Still works grate too.

But yeah always and I mean always ship you stuff right.
