As you may already know many old/very old submissions have poor to no verification.

Most don't have screenshot nor validation link, no comment and sometimes not even hardware information. Not to mention many are reported.

Until now it was decided to "leave them alone" to be "fair" unless the score looks too unrealistic.

So the question is, should we flag them out of the rankings (not delete/block them)?

Here are some examples:

Rol-Co`s Aquamark score: 234022 marks with a GeForce 7950 GX2

Mr Dizzy`s Aquamark score: 231906 marks with a GeForce 8800 GTX

Conman`s Aquamark score: 222606 marks with a GeForce 8800 GTX

joe_cool`s Aquamark score: 222160 marks with a GeForce 7900 GTX

PSS`s SuperPi - 1M score: 52sec 520ms with a Athlon 64 3000+ (Newcastle, s754)

Before May 15, 2008, no verification was required.

Imho, we should keep them. Some scores don't have a verification image because we had a storage outage ... not really fair to remove them.

Most of the scores aren't really valuable anyway

I think I have seen more interesting ones then you show but looking at your example I dont see any need to bother and remove old subs with hardly no points. If it was old top scores with no prof and that no one have beaten or maybe even been close to beat in all those years it would be a more interesting question.

There has always been somekind of verification ... since the [bot] era [/bot]

We even had JMKE ruling ... once upon a time (if you know what i mean).

So just leave them as is.

If something looks way out of line (mark it)

If not , let it be.

If you have time to spare and a good mailing list , then start mailing the members (with results beeing questioned).

I'm sure many of us , keep a photo of our results as a backup.

I know it's not an easy situation.

I see what you mean Sam but without any information at all, how do you know it's out of line?

I mean most dont have screenshot nor validation link, no comment and sometimes not even hardware information.
