Big help for mem vmod on a GTX580 Matrix

Recommended Posts

Good evening

a need a big help

my GTX580 Matrix start to go @ 640x480 at boot until SO and, a few seconds later, black screen

the v mem is fixed to 1,35V, not increase to 1,57V

the bios is original (flashed again)

Do I can solve with a v mod on mems' IC? Where is it?

If it stay between pciex 8pin and mems' vrm, there I can see an uP6205A IC

Sorry for my horrible english, thank to everybody in advance

it looks like the feedback pin on that IC is 11 but I'm not sure about your issue or if this will help.

yes, datasheet says pin 11 = FB

Is that IC the mems' IC?

it looks like it is but I'm not really familiar with the asus 580, I only have 580 classy and 580 lightning, both with voltage control, Since that card is a matrix there must be a way to raise the voltage without doing a vr mod, I just never looked into it. I can try and find out for you.

But there must be a different issue going on.

I had this issue on other board , check other output, for me one pin from DVI was not making contact, same stuck on 640x480 and black screen, fixed the DVI and cleaned up,all fine.

Don't mess with volt-mod in this matter , will not help for sure !

thank you very much really appreciated

I tried one dvi-i and the hdmi, I'm gonna checking the other dvi-i

thank you very much

last night I found that point grabbing a bit the pcb near the FB

do You think the v mod can solve the issue?

It seems that gen the vga must run 3D the vmem doesn't gain to 1,57V and so I have black screen

Not sure if it really gonna help your issues bro, but since you were asking for vmem mod so I gave it to you :)
