You can find some info here, the ic's used are PSC-X or BBSE most likely. It appears that hwbot member "emissary42" had powerchip PSC-X in his, these are his findings

a) [PSC] Mushkin Copperhead 996772 (2x2GB DDR3-1600 7-8-7-20 1.65V)

This is one of my newer kits that has never been tested on any other motherboard. Since it is not entirely clear what type of IC these specifications are, the first OC attempts were mainly for identification purposes. In the race were some Elpida variants, as well as more or less good Powerchips (PSC). The settings to configure the training of the memory were not touched. The Z97M GAMING behaved consistently in non-bootable settings, after three attempts to start is greeted by the Overclocking Failed message and asked if you want to load one of the stored profiles. Resetting the CMOS was never necessary.
 

DDR3-2200 7-10-7-26 1T 1.63V	DDR3-2400 8-11-7-27 2T 1.82V

It quickly turned out that Mushkin apparently used ICs from Powerchip on this copy. Due to the production date in 2009, this should be the X variant. Typical is a good scaling with CL7 at relatively low voltages. For DDR3-2200 tCL7 and tWL 6 the kit needed only 1.63V and a minimal increase of tRCD and tRAS. At DDR3-2400, however, suddenly no command rate of 1 more was possible. Even with the use of the 125 or 167 straps this could not be avoided. Whether this is a general problem of the Z97M GAMING with this type of IC, will require the next tests with other kits. Since the required voltage for DDR3-2400 was already quite high and even DDR3-2600 CL8 could not be started at 1.90V, further tests with the Copperheads are not planned for the time being.

Update: Even with my other and better quality PSC based kits DDR3-2400 command rate of 1T is no longer possible (tested with Corsair CMGTX1 , OCZ OCZ3RPR2133C7LV4GK OCZ3R ).

 

It also looks like hwbot member blabla123 had them too, but I noticed 996772 is Muskin Copperhead, not Blackline. Either way the 7-8-7-20 @ 1.65v timings mean psc or bbse most likely

Sorry but , NOT true.

You never really know , where you could find good PSC.

 

In the past , i had 1600 sticks that did waaayyy better than 2000 and 2133.

You have a point. I wanted to say, that it's better chance to find good set when binning 2000+ RAM than 1600. In case, when you can buy them all below 50 euro in my opinion it's pointless to buy 1600, when you may have something much better in almost the same price.

especially with anything you buy isnt it ???? the silicone lottery applies, motherboards, cpus, gpus, psus, hdds, tv's , fridges, cars, anything , if we knew the result of a lottery or the silicone lottery we'd all be millionaires would'nt we ???, good on you dhunt3r35 for having a go, i hope they do well for you, i have mushkin blackline as well as redline, ive found them good solid performers that do what they say and better, good luck with them.

Hi, thanks for all you're opinions when the mushkin arrive i will test them and see if its really a good chip or not...

Next time i will consider buy 2*2gb +2000mhz g.skill.

There some rare exceptions but in general that's what i would do, too.

 

The last halfway decent 1600 kit i bought were early F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO. Out of two kits the better one did DDR3-2400 8-11-8-28 1T twcl6 at 1.74V on Z97X-SOC Force.

@Bullant and @emissary42 , the set doesn't boot with 2600mhz 12/12/12/35...anything above 2400mhz don't boot, i don't know if its because the mobo or maybe the CPU that can't handle

The only MSI board I have used that was good for 2600+ c8 was the Z97 XPower with the newest bios. I'm sure MPower could as well but I've never owned one myself. For your setup I'd stick to trying 2400c7 11-7-28 tcwl=6/7

Yeah i not know what board you have,if it's the m power it can do it,if you have some non OC board then maybe to hard,those mems you have are normally not the best compared to others.Just stick to 2400 if to hard and tighten as much as you can

I've had PSC that cant boot above 2400 8-12-8 1T or 2400 8-11-8 2T. Voltage around 1.85-1.93v. Put fan on the mem can help stability on high voltage. The kit is gskill eco 1600 7-8-7 1.35v green pcb.

@Bullant and @speed\.fastest , maybe next weeken i will try in another system ...(3770k + msi z77 gd 45 )

tRCD=10 at DDR3-2400 sounds more like Elpida (BSSE maybe) to me than PSC.

Have you tried 6-7-6 or 6-8-6 at DDR3-1600?
